After spending Labor Day weekend with lots of family, my husband & I decided to extend our trip one more day to unwind by ourselves. We stopped in Branson and bought tickets to an evening show and then started looking for a place to stay. We drove across the river into Hollister and found the Ye Olde English Inn. This recently remodeled inn is so comfortable and cozy we can't wait to go back. We stayed in a suite on the 2nd floor and were not disappointed. The comfort and quality reminded me of the B&Bs we usually like to stay in (and a hot breakfast is included). The warm, friendly staff went out of their way to make us welcome and we enjoyed visiting with several of them. If you're looking for a spot that is just a few minutes from all that Branson offers, but off the loud, busy strip, plan a getaway to this Inn. You won't be dissapointed!

This place is GREAT! With the recent remodel, the attention to detail and quality is evident. From the comfortable beds to the wonderful light fixtures. There are a variety of room sizes and configurations. It is run by sweet, thoughtful people! I mentioned in passing that we were coming for my wife's birthday. There was a red rose in a vase and a balloon waiting for us in our room. I did not ask for it. The staff did that. Not only will we come again, we will definately come to the area more often! Thanks Lisa and Janet and all!

My wife an I stayed at the Inn over the 4th of July weekend. The stay was very nice and the people were great. We enjoyed our meals in the cafee. It is also close to all of the shows in Branson. I did have a run in with a ghost or I think it was on the 2nd floor out side of my room. It was a little touch and and go for a second but it was exciting. over all it was a great place to stay and we will again im sure.

I highly recommend this inn. I would advise anyone contemplating a Branson, Mo area vacation to stay here. This inn is situated in historical downtown Hollister which is only 2 miles from Branson. Stay here and avoid the long lines, congestion, and traffic in Branson and yet be only 5-10 minutes from anything you'd want to do in Branson.
The owners have restored this historical inn and it has the feel of an English country inn rather than a standard generic hotel. The inn has authentic English architecture inside and out. You can visit their pub and the restaurant in the dining room. There are also 4 other good restaurants within easy walking distance.
The inn is in a quiet setting and is a good romantic destination for couples but also family friendly. The manager and staff are very helpful, professional, and courteous.
If I return to this region, I will definitely avoid Branson hotels and stay here!

All new and modern but faithful to the old world theme. We were the first reservation guests upon opening, celebrating our belated 55th anniversary. A true B & B, great restaurant, affordable suites, friendly staff. They treat you like family. Believe the website claims and photos. Architecture is sturdy concrete and stone; they don't build them like this anymore. Can't wait to revisit.

Room Tip: The suites are well worth the difference in price.
