Our family entered this charming place on a whim a weekend after Thanksgiving. This sweet spot is somewhat hidden as its a block off the main road through this historical part of Hollister MO, a place I fear is missed by most Branson travelers. If an espresso or wine bug is biting your fancy however, you would serve yourself well to find this place.
The selection should well meet your needs for a delectable coffee or espresso beverage. Of course they have chai tea as well and can whip up a non-coffee drink for those types. While waiting and conversing with the lovely staff who was amazingly friendly, you'll notice a cool selection of wines that poke your curiosity. They carry interesting fare, something different than the norm of bigger shops and national chains. Priming for the holiday season, they had a Winter Plum wine that was a nice treat. They even had a make your own mead item that sure to be a fun gift to someone else or yourself.
The atmosphere is close and charming, daring on an unexpected sophistication you might not expect. Outside is a courtyard patio area featuring a fire-pit that the owner says gets spontaneously lit on cool evenings as patrons enjoy their drinks and company.
We loved the place, and will go out of our way to go back. Upon leaving, we all agreed we'd found something special and were already missing it, it's just that charming and welcoming of a place. Hopefully they're little coffee house will make it, if you read this, make it a point to try it out.
Thanks again to the staff who was so warm to us and our 2 ginger headed kids who loved finding out that the barista ha a 'bun in the oven" and they had lots of fun discussing that. We hope all goes well with the new baby!
