My husband and I finally made it back to the inn. We stayed in the Champagne Cottage. It was everything we’d hoped for and more. It was a quaint and romantic setting. We stayed two nights, and enjoyed wine, chocolate truffles (provided by the inn), a lovely view, fireflies, and even deer wandering below. Staying two nights allowed us more time to enjoy the wineries at leisure. We enjoyed evening strolls on the river front. We ate at the Mill Steakhouse (opened recently) one evening, and enjoyed our meal thoroughly. My husband ordered the rib-eye and I ordered the surf and turf. We ventured down to the inn on the first morning to enjoy breakfast. The service was pleasant and we enjoyed our baked apple pancake. The second morning, we ate on our terrace. We enjoyed a spinach and tomato quiche. It was delicious! We returned to the Tin Mill Brewery, and canned our favorite beer to take home. That was a fun process to watch. We didn’t have time for the new Hermannhof farm tour, nor did we make it to the distillery. Those are next on our list. When we checked out, we asked to see the rooms upstairs at the inn. They were very nice. We’re hoping to gather friends to stay at the inn on our next trip back. We loved our 2nd stay at the inn, and not agree we need to do this more often.

A long overdue thanks to the staff at the Inn at Hermannhof. My wife and I try to visit Hermann every fall. We stayed at the Paradise Cottage on the hill during our last visit. The view was beautiful and the room was very cozy. The shower and soaking tub are relaxing. Complimentary bottle of wine w/ pairing foods. A nice touch. Breakfast at the Inn was great. Some guests can be rude and walk past you while you are waiting for a table to be cleaned. A little more control by the staff would be appreciated. Management did provide a complimentary bottle of wine because of our wait. That was very thoughtful. We plan to return again this fall. The Inn at Hermannhof never disappoints. One word of advice: Avoid Octoberfest if you don’t like crowds. Amtrak runs through Hermann and dumps hundreds of college coeds off during the October weekends, which is probably why things shutdown early to avoid problems. Enjoy!

The room was simply awesome in every way. The wine and cheese tray was nice and the snacks on day to were great. We really enjoyed our time there we brought our bikes and rode the Katy Trail. Went to to many wineries in town and had a good time. We will be back again!

My husband and I took a couple days over Valentine's Day to go enjoy Hermann. We didn't realize many places would be closed during our trip due to timing. The Inn at Hermannhof was a great destination. We stayed in one of the cottages. It was peaceful, comfortable and very Romantic. The breakfast each morning was tasty and fresh. We enjoyed our snacks and wine that came in the cottage. The Inn's staff were friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. The cottage and restaurant areas were clean, neatly kept and cozy We will definitely visit again.

This inn is beautiful with great accommodations including an excellent breakfast and service. We stayed here for a long weekend getaway and reserved the Hope room on 3rd floor. The jetted tub and steam shower plus two gas fireplaces were amazing. Great amenities plus location is close to everything. You can walk to restaurants, bars, and shops. Will definitely stay here again.
