“Dubach was the best part of our visit.”
Reviewed September 9, 2011

We had a wonderful time in Hannibal, but the Dubach Inn made the trip special.

Our breakfasts at the Inn were better than anything else we ate in Hannibal - gorgeous spreads of freshly baked breads (pumpkin, lemon, berry - all incredible!) and every breakfast entree was absolutely delicious.

The hosts were so kind, generous, and thoughtful. If you are more private and like your innkeepers to be more reserved, then they intuitively know to respect that. My wife and I tend to be more reserved and private, but our hosts were such wonderful people that we ended up gabbing away for hours one morning. Honestly, meeting them was one of the highlights of the trip!

The house is beautiful, very clean, and full of endless charm. I think our suite was more cozy than our own home! We're a very active, young-ish couple, but we almost hated to leave the Dubach to go out for the day - it was that comfortable!

Don't hesitate to book with the Dubach. We certainly won't think twice about booking there the next time we're in the area. (And, we've already talked about going back to Hannibal just to stay at the Dubach!!)

Room Tip: We toured several of the rooms - they are all fantastic - but the downstairs suite was fantastic.

Fabulous food, warm and inviting hosts with a respect for privacy, lots of assistance with local information - tours, dinging, etc.

Our suite was cozy, comfortable and charming. The beds were comfortable and my one concern about staying in a house built in the 1880's was dispelled - plenty of hot water! Our gourmet breakfast was the best surprise of all.

Kris and Steve are the perfect B&B hosts, and believe me, it is not an easy thing to pull off but they made it seem effortless.

Room Tip: They are all charmong but we loved the Fette suite - private entrance, separate living room and kitc...

One of the members of the party has limited mobility. The Dubach suite at The Inn fit the bill being on ground level with only 2 short steps to get in rather than a staircase to climb. The room was well accomodated. Fellow traveler raved about pillows. Innkeepers were very helpful and kind. Breakfast was gourmet and delicious.

Room Tip: Suite was private and located in backyard of home. Easily accessible.

I was calling around at 8:30 at night trying to make last plans to go to Hannibal and I had called two other places to get quotes and the people weren't very helpful. They had an 'it's the 4th of July, we can take ya or leave ya' attitude. I figured that was the way people were going to be in Hannibal. I then called The Dubach Inn and talked to Kris. She was so friendly and helpful. She volunteered lots of information so I booked with her. We stayed in the Fette Suite. Absolutely perfect! It was a mini apartment with a 1940's feel to it. Very tastefully decorated and so clean. Our stay there seemed like it lasted a month. We were so relaxed there! Steve was waiting on the porch for us when we arrived and was so welcoming. Both Steve and Kris would come join ts for conversation over breakfast in the mornings. Seemed like we were old friends! 'Bipolar Gus' is definately the main attraction! I would strongly suggest sitting on the porch enjoying your morning coffee with him! Will get your day off happy!!

We're very glad you enjoyed your stay at our inn, and the company of our cat, Gus. Just a note: Gus is not allowed in guest areas. He's a very friendly cat (with just a touch of wildness in him!)

Kristine and Steve went above and beyond our expectations and it was a joy to be able to spend a night in the Fette Suite after walking through the historic part of Hannibal.

A great night's sleep on the very
comfortable bed was followed by
coffee brought to our room and
topped by an incredibly tasty
breakfast.

My husband and I while traveling on a business trip last year discoverd this great B & B loved it. So this year while traveling through we couldn't wait to stay again. We were impressed once again.. Can't wait to stay here again. Good food and conversation. We would highly recommend this B & B.

My first experience at a B & B. The Dubach Inn was a lovely venue. Clean, quiet and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent and the host family was lovely.
