We knew very little about what we would find in Hannibal and just stopped by on a whim. Who doesn't love mark Twain. What a lovely tribute to one America's greates authors and humorists. You can walk the streets where Sam clemens played with his real life friends who served as models for "Huck" and "Becky" and other famous characters in his novels. Very interesting to read about these people and what they later did in their lives. "Tom Sawyer's" house is lovingly preserved and includes plaster statues of Twain when he last visited as an old man and his words are displayed to read, Modest price to tour the houses is well worth it to help preserve this history.

We loved seeing Mark Twain's home, Huckelberry Finn's home, Becky Thather's home and the museum...all included with your ticket. It was fun learing about Mark Twain....how he grew up, his adult life, later years....a fasinating life.

Very interesting trip to see Mark Twains home. The neat ting was the whitewashed fence that figured so prominently in Tom Sawyer.

It's easy to stand there and imagine what life must have when the book was being formed.

Everyone should have the experience of reading those books and then coming here to see the place it took root.

Interesting and informative. Not intended for the very young. A nice way to spend an afternoon. Nestled in the downtown so you can venture out to explore that too. The Tom and Huck statue is within walking distance.

We stopped in Hannibal for the day on our way to St. Louis and decided to visit the Mark Twain Boyhood home and museum because my kids enjoy the Tom Sawyer book and movies. Although my kids were bored quickly, my husband and I enjoyed reading and seeing the history of Twain. The value of admission is great since it also includes the museum a few blocks down the street from the boyhood home.
