We didn't know what to expect, but decided to check it out anyway, since it was on our way. We were glad we did. Not only was the staff helpful and friendly, but the self guided tour through the years and information about Purina was interesting and fun.

We walked the property, seeing the different dog shows going on, visited the gift shop, and had a nice time there. We weren't able to stay long, but if you have the time, stop in, sit for awhile, watch a dog show, and enjoy !!

This is a wonderful dog show venue with everything an exhibitor could ask for. Onsite restaurant, dog bathing room, changing rooms, grooming hall, & indoor rings with air conditioning. For the performance folks, there are herding, agility, obedience, & rally facilities, too. The grounds at impeccably kept and the RV parking is convenient to the event center. Free wifi, too. Love this place!

Put this on your list of things to do, which is free. I was unsure exactly what it would be like, but saw it was free and wrote it down when planning our vacation. I was impressed with the friendly staff, and the overall experience. My child loved the animals, and the petting zoo. The experience is great for those children and adults who don't get to the farm often to see farm animals and experience the country life. The walk through the barn is enjoyable, the floors are concrete and safe for all ages. There is no hazards to worry about. The dog show is very enjoyable and you should plan to try and watch the dogs. The tractor ride around the farm is enjoyable and you get to see the entire farm. The store and concession stand are affordable and have plenty of items for everyone. We also got to see the milking of a cow, which was a first for myself, in real life, and seeing it done by mechanical means as well. This facility is stroller friendly if you need to bring one. There is not much distance around the main barn areas but a stroller can make it through the areas if need be.

We went here last summer with our four year-old son. Called ahead to make reservations. The dog show was excellent, in my opinion. My son loved all the animals and the wagon ride. It was a beautiful day out, which made our day even nicer. We only stayed for a couple of hours total, as it was not a huge place. Definitely worth the drive, and best of all, it's free!
