We decided to stop at the National Churchill Museum on our way to the Lake of The Ozarks and it was a wise decision. This museum provides the guest with a good introduction to the life and career of Winston Churchill, with particular emphasis on the Iron Curtain Speech that occurred in Fulton, along with a visit to the Church of St. Mary that was reconstructed after being damaged during World War II bombings of London. The exhibits are easy to follow and informative, both with respect to Churchill and World War II. They are about the best we are going to get in the heart of America. I am glad that we visited and am sure that you will also.
