“In need of upgrading”
Reviewed January 18, 2014

I stayed at the hotel on 2 occasions and have to say that both rooms were in need of upgrading. The carpet was worn and frayed in both rooms, in one room the shower drain was so clogged that the water was ankle deep at the end of the shower. Also keep in mind that this hotel welcomes pets of all sizes in any room classification.

I have to say that the staff was very accommodating and friendly.

Room Tip: Try to get a room on the left side of the hotel (Cracker Barrel ) side. The right side backs up to...

We truly appreciate you staying with us and value any and all feedback regarding your experience. I am so sorry to hear that your shower would not drain properly and will review all tubs to ensure that they are all in good working order. Please know we have maintenance on site an average of 12 hours a day to respond instantly to any concerns. I also want to make you aware, we have carpet on order and will be replacing rooms that are in need of attention. Thanks again for staying with us and we look forward to seeing you on your next trip to Fenton.

well managed, friendly staff, equipment that works, good clean beds, flat TVs. all the essential is there for a budget-happy stay. the place is charmless and there is really no lobby area to enjoy and relax. the breakfast food is cheap and the dining area feel like a cafeteria. but overall there is not much i would expect that i did not get.

Room Tip: ask desk staff for discounts before final booking.

We came to this hotel after a day that started in Chicago and took in visits to Springfield, IL and St. Louis.

We choose this hotel as a good stop after St Louis before heading out towards Route 66 and Oklahoma the next day.

The room was clean and spacious, the bed comfortable and I had a perfect night's sleep.

I was up the next morning and went to the smallish gym but the treadmill and cross trainer were enough for me. There was an exercise bike or stepper in the gym too. When I say gym, it was a converted hotel room, a bit hot in there but fine for me.

We enjoyed the breakfast which included make you own waffle, fruit and yoghurt and the normal cereal, coffee etc. There was also some hot choices such as scrambled eggs and sausages which I did not have.

Overall good and I would return. At a touch over $100 for the night I am not giving 5 star as I had been to better of the same type of hotel for a fair bit less.

The staff was very friendly other than one particular lady stating that she had told us something three times. Breakfast was very good and offered a lot of variety. Dinner options were ok for the nights that we were there. This hotel does offer three free drinks (alcohol) for each adult in the room. However there is limited times on the evening food and drink so if you check in too late you may miss this perk. Rooms were very clean and the beds were more comfortable than others I have slept in. The shampoo, conditioner, and bidy wash seemed ti be a little better quality than other hotels.

Without question, the best place to stay in the St. Louis area! The staff makes you feel as though you are their only guest. The "extras" are plentiful. There was no extra charge for our dog. Easy access to interstate, restaurants and nearby attractions.

We stayed at this Drury Inn on Saturday October 12th. The hotel was very busy and we were given a room near the lobby. There was non stop constant noise through out the night and super early in the morning. We were waken early by the sound of two barking dogs in the hallway (!!?!!). When we arrived there was a super obnoxious air freshener smell that gave me a huge headache and triggered my allergies. I was fine while we were out of the room, but when we returned to the air freshener smell I started suffering immensely. Much less of this air freshener would be more than sufficient! The air conditioner was super loud, clanky and noisy over night and woke us several times. Overall the room was very nice and clean. We would probably return if we were given a room not near the lobby and the air freshener/deoderizing smell was less noticeable.

Room Tip: Do not stay near the lobby. It is very noisy!

On behalf of the entire team we are so sorry that you had so many issues while you were here. We will absolutely review your comments with the housekeeping team so they can improve and we will check all the AC units for operating efficiency and quietness. I am truly sorry that it was loud both inside and out of your room. Please know that we will gladly place you away from the lobby on your next visit. Please just let us know and we will make sure you get where you wish to be in the hotel.

Thank you so much for staying with us. It is our pleasure to be your choice of hotels in Fenton.
