The curtains went below the air conditioner/heater. That means the customer has to choose between light in his/her face in the morning or (in my case) cold air in 97 degree weather. The pool had so much chemicals it burned our eyes, and three other groups left after their eyes burned. Breakfast wasn't great either.

Had business in Fenton, MO (about 25 miles south of the St. Louis airport). It was a tossup between this Fairfield Inn and a Residence Inn next store. The staff was great, even remembering me from an earlier stay. The rooms were clean and the free breakfast was good. Drawbacks include the remodeling construction on the first floor. If you have to do work during the day in your room, it could get annoying. The work ends around 6pm, so it will not bother your sleep. Also, the workout area only has a stationary bike, eliptical, and a treadmill that isn't working. If you need a place close to everything near Fenton, this is a good choice for the price.

I stayed at the Fairfield from Saturday April 21 throu Tuesday April 24. The hotel was very clean and the staff was amazing. A big shout out to Meghan. She was amazing. She was always willing to help out with anything you need. They provided us with a list of the local stores including directions. The pool area was very clean. The pool was warm and the hot tub was excellent. I have not complaints about this hotel. I hope that some day I can stay here again. The hotel is within walking distance to the Fenton Bar and Grill which had good drinks and very short driving distance to great shopping and even better food. In the afternoon they put cookies out which was really nice and they were delicious. The breakfast was great too. Good selection and always well stocked. I would recommend to everyone.

While Fairfields are predicatable, the service at this hotel was not - in that it exceeded expectations. The front desk went out of the their way not only to greet but also to ensure little things were taken care of. I was with a large group on a high school band trip (yes we ensured they were quiet and they are a well behaved bunch!) When one of the rooms occupied by adults seems warm they asked about a fan and they got one...the front desk gave them theirs! The next day their system was replaced while we were out. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. There was remodeling construction on the first floor - it did not create any issues for us. Something that is awkward is the location --- kind of hard to find if you don't know where you are going. However, once you find it - the warmth and welcome create a little gem. Rooms were very clearn and the hallways were as well. (Hallways tell me a lot about the care and maintenace of a hotel.) If you need a place to stay a Fenton area, I'd say give it a try. Again, every single encounter with the employees was warm and service oriented.

This hotel was in bad need of an update. They were working On remodeling why we were there. The room was a little small. The location is hard to get to. I would expect the make over to help it tremendously!! It was a great price !!

...about what you'd expect from a Fairfield Inn but for some reason this place was extremely noisy...the walls seem thin, the floors from above thump like crazy when walked on, and smokers going in and out of the hotel at all times of the night using the end entrance/exit was enough to drive us crazy. On a positive note: the rooms were big, clean, but in need of an update (tube vs. flat TV). The breakfast was great, the pool was clean and the hot tube was just right. We would stay here again but try to get a top level floor away from the stairs and the elevator.

Room Tip: Choose top floor mid-way down the corridor for the quietest location...

We stayed on an employee discount so for the price we paid I can not complain. However, I wouldn't pay the retail price per night of $159 to save my life. I was under the impression that the hotel had been remodeled as we were advised of this when we booked the room. We stayed on the second floor and our room was not remodeled. Carpet was old, marks on the walls, stains on the shower curtain and crumbs in the drawers were a few things we noticed. The room did have a flat screen TV which was nice. The bed was pretty comfortable so no complaints there. Hotel staff was not overly friendly but weren't rude either. The indoor pool/hot tub area definitely needs updated, just looks old and worn out. The free breakfast was nice, it included Apple and Orange juice, 4 different cereals, yogurt and fruit cups, jimmy deans breakfast sandwhiches (Bacon or sausage) fruit, bagels and waffles made on the spot by a hotel employee. Definitely good for free! All in all, the hotel was decent for what we paid but I would never pay more than the employee rate to stay there. I hope they are in fact remodeling because it could use the updates.
