Crystal Creek Ranch

We stayed in the Russ Noah cabin. A short walk across the meadow to the potty. Near the farm animals and the main hall with all the antique farm equipment and games. Next to Betty's garden. The cabin is equipped with everything a first class hotel has - well - sort of. The water valve is just outside the front door, a windmill is blowing in the wind right next to it and the haywagon is ready when you are - almost. The kids and grandkids stayed at the Lakeside cabin with boats and frogs entertaining them. A short walk from our abode. Russ Noah is small, perfect for a single person or a chummy couple.
Bring your camping gear, except for the tent and bedding. The Lakeside is large with a large loft and huge deck.
At night we'd sit outside the cabin and watch the lightning bugs flash across the way. In the morning we'd do out AM exercise on the deck.
If yo don't like the stroll to the bathrooms, you can rent one of the large homes overlooking the rest of the Ozarks also.
A wonderful stay and yes we will be back next time we visit the grandkids in MO and TN

Room Tip: the swimming "pool" is the creek. The homes are further away from the farm activities. T...

I have been to Crystal Creek Twice and will definitely be going back. If it's a quiet family get a way your looking for this is the place! The ranch has farm animals, walking trails, a running clear creek, a fishing lake and more. It's close, just a couple miles, from Eminence for the river float seekers or horse trail riders. The accommodations are always very clean and comfortable. Each cabin has it's own unique view. Bill and Bettye go out of their way to make sure your stay is exactly what you want it to be.
I can't wait to return to Crystal Creek!

A group of girls, me included, go to CCR at least twice a year for a girls getaway. We relax, enjoy the beauty of nature and always love talking with Bill and Bettye Byrne. This is a great place to rock hunt as my home is decorated with many rocks I've brought home. I never get tired of sitting outside and soaking in the beauty of the ranch.

This year will be our 5th annual family reunion at Crystal Creek Ranch. Our family of 20 absolutely love our weekends there. The ranch is fun for everyone from 1 yr to us oldies!

Bill and his family are wonderful hosts offering the kids a chance to feed the barn animals every morning, taking us on hayrides and accommodating any of our needs. The ranch house we stay in has the most spectacular views of the Missouri hills.

There are trails to walk, games to play in the main hall, a lake to fish and animals galore. Its wonderful getting away from the city for a while and doing nothing but relax.

If you are looking for a weekend or weeklong getaway, Crystal Creek ranch will have the right accommodations for you.

Room Tip: If you want the best views, the ranch house with it's wrap around double deck is amazing.

My wife and I wanted to get away from our busy city life. We stayed a weekend at the crystal creek ranch and had a great time. If you have ever dreamed of living on living on a farm in the middle of nowhere this is it. People were nice but left us alone and let us explore the ranch. Also there are some really cool springs around the area and the beautiful current river.

My wife and I stayed here in the late Fall. We were looking for a quiet place to stay, while we explored the Current River on kayaks. This was a great "find" for us, as it exceeded our expectations. The people at the ranch are very friendly, the house was spacious and comfortable, and the sunset we saw one morning from the hilltop was exceptional. If I tried really hard to find a negative or two, it would be the soapy smell in the laundry room. This was not a problem, as long as we closed the door between the laundry room and the living areas. There is also an ancient TV, which displays mostly colors in the green and magenta tones. But, we weren't here to watch TV anyway. The house is an older ranch house, so don't expect a fancy B&B (we didn't). Everything is functional and comfortable (kitchen, beds, temp control, etc.). There's even a game room (down the hill), with ping pong and fussball. The price might be a little higher than other accommodations elsewhere(?), but the value to us for having the hilltop to ourselves was priceless. My wife, also, had fun feeding the chickens, geese, and goats. We're from the West Coast, so I don't know if we'll be back to the Ozarks anytime soon. But, I'll know where to stay if we're in the area again. Five Stars.
