Our son went to the archery range while we shopped and took pictures. Great gift shop and what a huge rocking chair!

My husband and I took a spur of the moment trip down route 66 and ended up getting to see the World's Largest Rocking Chair! At least that's what Guiness Book of Records says. I'm inclined to believe. It's right outside the cutest little "outpost" filled with touristy souveniers. The outpost also had a nice selection of American made knives (the husband liked this very much). If you wanted to do archery here, it's offered for a small fee too! We spent about a half hour roaming through the store and ended up buying some cool souveniers to bring home:-)

We really enjoyed this outpost. My dad used to take me to the feed store next door as a child. They have the worlds largest rocking chair there. The people are very friendly. They have an indoor archery facility in the back, which is new and it was nice. I think we spent over an hour there.

I only pulled off because we had to go to the bathroom... and I must admit I was curious about the "world's largest rocker" signs! My kids are 6 and 10 and they really like stopping at the route 66 state park every year on our annual trip to Ok! There's not really anything to do, but it's the novelty of the huge rocker and the special Route 66 bottled sodas that are fun! It's just a cute little place to stop and look around. We take our yearly picture by the rocker and ger our bottled sodas. Nothing too terribly exciting, but a fun little place to stop along the way!
