If you're into old gasoline service station signs from the beginning of motorized travel.... this is a place to see! You have to call Bob for an appointment to see all of his antiques and nostalgia but he'll happily show you around his place for free if he has time. This place was featured on Roadside Attractions (PBS) so I thought you could get in anytime... not true. lol My husband and I didn't know you needed to make reservations but we pulled up outside one of Bob's buildings and got out of the car. Bob met us and told us that we could look all around his house and grounds until the Corvette club showed up for a party they were having. Bob rents his place out for a small fee. VERY popular with the car enthusiasts. He even had food catered for the Corvette club. While the old Corvettes lined up outside, my husband and I walked around the grounds and all through one house and 2 other smaller buildings. ENDLESS nostalgia.... mostly from the 50's. My dad would have loved it.

If you're ever traveling down old 66 and find yourself in between Cuba and Fanning... give Bob a call and see if he'll let you check his place out! Why not? It's free (so far) and it's better than sitting home.
