Chef Mike Odette is the most accomplished chef in mid-Missouri, diligently using produce, meats and trout from local producers whenever possible, and giving them his signature touch, which favors complex, savory flavors. The wine and beer lists are exceptional, and the waitstaff is well trained and gracious.

The 'steak' was more like roast, and the mashed potatoes were thin and cold. The crab cakes were pretty good. All-in-all I was not impressed, and will not be returning.

My daughter and I went for lunch. I had the Beet Salad and a Tuna salad sandwich. It was very good and the food seemed very fresh. My daughter had a Hummus plate and the special Clam Chowder. It was a very good meal and we will return

I took my daughter and Mom out for a night on the town. This was the restaurant to treat them. The Greek salad and spinach salad were plentiful and well seasoned. The beet salad was something to write home about. The arugula was topped with grated beets and topped goat cheese perfectly dressed. The gnocci was seasonal and tasty. The crab cakes were a real surprise. We didn't know if it was a good idea to order crab in Missouri but they were meaty and fresh.

Not your typical college fare. Menu had nice variety with a bit of elegant flair. Nice atmosphere because it was not as loud as most restaurants in a college town with white table cloth setting. Excellent wine selection. Place to go for a special occasion.
