We've lived in the Columbia area for decades, but had never even heard of this restaurant. (We do remember when it was Sachs Sixth Ave.)
We got there about 5:15 pm on a Saturday, and there was only one other group eating. By the time we left at 7:00, the place was full, but nobody standing in line waiting for a table.
The food was excellent - awesome nachos, the chicken was unbelievably moist, the pork chop was wonderful. The best was that nights special - an 8 oz. filet - cooked perfectly! As was the burger. And for desert, following recommendations here, we shared the chocolate gooey butter cake with ice cream WOW!
We had a great bottle of wine - $28 - very reasonable.
Contrary to some of the reviews here, the service was excellent. Our server was as good as you will find in any restaurant.
It's hard to understand why people would wait somewhere else for an hour or so without considering Coley's.
We'll definitely be back.
