“A Hidden Gem”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 11, 2014

We've lived in the Columbia area for decades, but had never even heard of this restaurant. (We do remember when it was Sachs Sixth Ave.)
We got there about 5:15 pm on a Saturday, and there was only one other group eating. By the time we left at 7:00, the place was full, but nobody standing in line waiting for a table.
The food was excellent - awesome nachos, the chicken was unbelievably moist, the pork chop was wonderful. The best was that nights special - an 8 oz. filet - cooked perfectly! As was the burger. And for desert, following recommendations here, we shared the chocolate gooey butter cake with ice cream WOW!
We had a great bottle of wine - $28 - very reasonable.
Contrary to some of the reviews here, the service was excellent. Our server was as good as you will find in any restaurant.
It's hard to understand why people would wait somewhere else for an hour or so without considering Coley's.
We'll definitely be back.

“Quiet time, good food.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 8, 2014

Our server was really sweet, the menu wasn't anything over the top, but we really enjoyed ourselves. Don't get to Columbia too often, this was a nice find. Quiet little place off the beaten path.

“Good food and good atmosphere, best nachos”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2014

Good place for dinner or just drinks. The place is small but has a great atmosphere, especially around Christmas time where they do a fine job of dressing the place up.

The food is definitely above average. The burgers are some of the best in Columbia and the nachos are definitely the best in Columbia (although maybe tied with Addison's).

The only downside is there beer selection. The number of beers they have on tap is limited and they almost never have any lagers on tap.

“Food, Service & Location is WONDERFUL”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 12, 2013 via mobile

Why this place isn't in the top 3, I will never understand. Maybe due to it being relatively new to Columbia.
The food selection is a wide array from high-end dishes such as a filet to a more casual yet boutique style burger. Probably the best burger in town mind you. :)
Marsha, the bartender is as friendly and sweet as one can be. She can keep up with the youngsters any-day of the week!
Highly recommend the chicken nacho as an appetizer.
If you're not fond of this little gem, you'll probably need to go to New York to satisfy your needs...

“Great food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2013

The food at Coley's is always very great. The atmosphere is okay and the service is acceptable, but the food is great. If the other two things were improved then this place would be amazing.
