We had a great meal at Room 38 and the service was great too. The small plate orders were fun to share like tapas and we sat on a large sofa eating at a short coffee table in the bar area. It was pretty dark and very much a bar atmosphere. The food was all fantastic and at surprisingly reasonable prices. The wine flight size was also great for sampling several wines and not having to order another full glass when all you want is a bit more. Highly recommended.

We had six in our party and had to yell across the table to try and talk. All the other tables were doing this as well. The music was club bass music and was not music for dinner. We probably will not go back because of it. Thats our preference. The food was good and worth trying if you can deal with the boom boom boom of the bass of a track that seemed like it was on a loop.

Our experience was very positive. We arrived somewhat early to avoid getting caught in heavy rain, and were seated immediately. Food was well prepared and very imaginative. We were there during happy hour, and had several glasses of good wine with selections from the small plates and "sharing" menus. Highly recommend, and would definitely go there again when in Columbia.

I tried Room 38 a few years ago and wasn't that impressed. Saw that it was now rated #1 on this site so went back last weekend. What a difference time makes! The food was amazing. Loved the pretzel bites, seared dumplings, and lettuce wraps. Everyone in my group loved it. Went back again last night and had another great experience. The sandwiches are ok, but the small & sharing plates are much, much better. Make a reservation so you can get a table, otherwise you have to eat from your lap while sitting on a sofa. Sharing plates were half off before 630pm and they could easily be your meal if you wanted to eat tapas style

Very tasty food in a hip atmosphere! Seemed more like a bar that served food than a restaurant that had a bar scene. The food was very good--more "small plate" selections than big entrees but it was all well-prepared and innovative. Service was exceptional-we changed our reservation time and our table and we were accommodated without hesitation. We will go back when we are in Colombia!
