Vistamar apartment is located in the quiet south-western part of the beautiful Andalucian white-washed village of Mijas, it is perfectly situated, within a five minute walk to an abundance of restaurants, tapas bars and cafes. It is in a gated community on the first floor, there is a lift in the complex and the walk to the entrance of the apartment has no steps.
Our spacious, recently refurbished, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment, which was built in 2004, has a modern, fully equipped, brand new kitchen and a large, bright, airy living/dining room which leads onto a patio with breathtaking views down to the coast and across to Africa.

The kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher, 4 ring induction hob, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, kettle, toaster and a Nespresso coffee machine.
All of the bedrooms and the living/dining room benefit from a recently installed, brand new, ducted air conditioning system which also provides heat during the winter months. The apartment has marble floors throughout.
The Master bedroom has two single beds set up as a king size bed but can be separated and dressed as singles if required, fitted wardrobes, a TV, plenty of storage and also its own terrace with beautiful views of the village, the surrounding mountains and down to the sea, it also benefits from an en-suite bathroom with a bath/shower.
The other two bedrooms also have two single beds, fitted wardrobes, plenty of storage and juliette balconies, again with stunning views.
The spacious main bathroom has a bath/shower. Towels are provided. For your convenience we also supply hand wash, shampoo and shower gel.

Andalucian law requires all guests over the age of 16 to complete a 'Guest Information' form. These will be sent to you before arrival. They will be held for two years, your details must be registered with the local police within 24 hours of your arrival, they will not be passed onto any other party.
My family and I had a wonderful holiday in Mijas Pueblo. Plenty of bars, restaurants and shops to visit, even though we stayed out of season.
The apartment was perfect. Everything you need for a great stay was provided. It was spotless and very comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend.

Great apartment in great location
This apartment had everything you might want for a short stay as well as being in a great location in Mijas village. It was very clean, quiet, spacious and had lots of facilities.

Fabulous spacious modern apartment!
Perfect location just a few minutes walk from the heart of the village. Modern, spacious and spotlessly clean. All the amenities you could require. Lovely views from the balcony. No pool but you can use the facilities at a hotel nearby for €10 per day (they do a better deal for 5 days).
Definitely be back soon

LOVELY COMFORTABLE APARTMENT IN EXCELLENT POSITION
This well equipped apartment was within easy reach of the town but still had amazing, uninterrupted views of the coast and beyond. The town has a choice of many really nice restaurants, both traditional and ultra modern. We also enjoyed the live music on Sunday nights in Chema's wine bar. There are good bus links to the coast and a lively, bustling atmosphere in the town itself each day with the visiting day trippers . We would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely, comfortable apartment, whose owners were very helpful and co-operative. We would certainly like to return and repeat the experience as our 4 week stay was very enjoyable indeed.

Amazing
Lovely apartment with good amenities and amazing view we felt immediately at home . Located a short (uphill) walk from the centre of Mijas which has a good selection of bars,supermarkets, restaurants and efficient bus service.
Margaret was very helpful and replied promptly to any query/requests that we had.
We would love to return asap.

Perfect 3 bed apartment in idyllic Andalucian village,
Spotlessly clean, very well equipped with high quality fit out , 3 double bedroom / 2 large bathrooms, secure apartment, 2 mins walks from Mijas Pueblo village centre. Balcony with stunning views down to coast. Wifi and air con excellent. 35 mins from Malaga airport, easy car parking but also excellent public transport options so car not essential. Mijas Pueblo is beautiful and has all the facilities and restuarants for a great holiday within 2 mins walk of the apartment. Short car ride or bus trip to the beaches/water parks attractions at Fuengirola or venture further along the coast to Marbella etc. Great info from the owners who take a tremendous pride in their property and have real passion for the village and area. Book without any concerns for a super stay in one of Andalucia's prettiest villages.

About the neighborhood
Mijas Pueblo is nestled into the side of the Sierra de Mijas and the surrounding pine forests offer lots of beautiful walks. There are plenty of things to see and do in Mijas, the many tourist attractions including the Bullring, the museum of Miniatures, the churches and monuments are well worth a visit. You can take a tour around the village on an elegant horse drawn carriage or the famous ‘burro-taxis’ (donkey drawn carts or donkey back rides) or an electric Tuk-Tuk tour.
Getting around
A car is not necessary for a holiday in Mijas Pueblo, there is a very reliable bus service to the beaches and lively town of Fuengirola which takes about 15 minutes, there is also a service to Torremolinos and Coin. The bus stop is situated near the main square, opposite the Town Hall. If you do hire a car to explore further afield there is usually free street parking just outside the apartment.
The apartment is 25 minutes from Malaga Airport by car. If you prefer you can use public transport, the train service is very regular and reliable, you can take a train to Fuengirola direct from the airport.

The apartment is 25 minutes from Malaga Airport by car. If you prefer you can use public transport, the train service is very regular and reliable, you can take a train to Fuengirola direct from the airport (the railway station is a two minute walk from the airport exit), the trains run every 20 minutes from 08:00 to 21:00 and a single fare cost approx. 3 euros. From Fuengirola you can take a bus up to the centre of Mijas village, the cost is less than 2 euros, the apartment is about a 10 minute walk from the bus stop. There are also buses that run direct from the airport to Mijas, 3 times a day.
