We attended a wedding at the hotel in March. We live in the area. During the cocktail hour, we decided that it would be a good idea to just spend the night. We made a reservation around 6:00 pm. Later in the evening, we learned that 2 feet of snow was expected overnight. We elected to drive home if we could cancel our reservation. It is important to note that we didn't step foot in the room.
The front office personnel assured us we would not be charged for the room and wished us luck in getting home.
The charge appeared on our credit card statement. I called several times to resolve the issue and was told each time that the person I need to speak with was not there. I left my name and telephone number each time. I have not received a return call. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. More
