“The prices at Morton's border on criminal”
Reviewed October 27, 2013

This is probably the most overpriced restaurant I've ever eaten at. Everything is a la carte, and everything is absurdly priced. The ribeye steak -- one of the lowest priced steaks on the menu -- was $46. It came with a small sprig of parsley. It was an OK steak -- not as good as what I make on my own grill for a small fraction of the price. The sea bass -- also close to $50 (served with nothing). The fish was 'pretty good', hardly stellar. Molten chocolate cake (probably the highlight of the meal) -- $14.50. It's difficult to get out of there for much under $100 per person, and if you actually order a bottle of wine and an appetizer, it will be well over $100/person. This place can only stay in business by appealing to businessmen on expense accounts who don't care about the cost and who are looking for something familiar. IF YOU ARE SPENDING YOUR OWN MONEY, take my advice and go elsewhere. You can do MUCH BETTER than Morton's for MUCH LESS MONEY. The meal was a huge disappointment, and I for one won't be returning to Morton's.

“Anyone hungry for steak”
Reviewed August 5, 2013

There is nothing to dislike about this place. The location is good and the staff is great. They greet with a smile and let you know right away that they care about what do. The service seems a little slow, but the food is hot, so be ready for a great experience when it is brought to your table.

We enjoyed a celebratory dinner for 7. We ordered chopped salad, oysters, oysters Rockefeller, shrimp cocktail, jumbo asparagus, creamed corn, potatos lyonnaise, potatos au gratin, sautéed spinach with mushroom buttons, prosciutto wrapped mozzarella, an Ahi Tuna Tower and of course steaks, and Crab Legs. We saved room for 3 Hot Chocolate Cakes.

“Fantastic Food for a Special 50th Anniversary”
Reviewed July 22, 2013

How do you begin to describe the most memorable night at a restaurant? Well, first the greeting at the door was special and warm and very welcoming. They made my sister and her husband feel special the entire time, but receiving a menu with your name and Happy 50th Anniversary is just so memorable. Next the picture that they took and framed and gave each of us. The wine list is beautiful with many choices for every taste. The food is expensive but it was worth every bite. 2 people got the prime New York strip and the other 2 got the ribeye, one with bone one without. All were cooked to perfection and literally melted in your mouth with such savory juices. The salads are very large and I highly recommend the chopped salad, it was to die for- nicely chopped with egg, crumbles, bacon and much more the flavors made my mouth sing. The sides are equally large and can be shared. We enjoyed creamed spinach, asparagus, and onion rings and a potato dish. All cooked perfectly. Delish!!! Finished off with one complimentary lava cake which was just so gooey and warm served with ice cream the perfect end to a perfect day. Our server took our valet ticket and the car was ready and all cooled off for us when we were prepared to leave. Thanks to Morton's for making this special occasion truly special.
