This is probably the most overpriced restaurant I've ever eaten at. Everything is a la carte, and everything is absurdly priced. The ribeye steak -- one of the lowest priced steaks on the menu -- was $46. It came with a small sprig of parsley. It was an OK steak -- not as good as what I make on my own grill for a small fraction of the price. The sea bass -- also close to $50 (served with nothing). The fish was 'pretty good', hardly stellar. Molten chocolate cake (probably the highlight of the meal) -- $14.50. It's difficult to get out of there for much under $100 per person, and if you actually order a bottle of wine and an appetizer, it will be well over $100/person. This place can only stay in business by appealing to businessmen on expense accounts who don't care about the cost and who are looking for something familiar. IF YOU ARE SPENDING YOUR OWN MONEY, take my advice and go elsewhere. You can do MUCH BETTER than Morton's for MUCH LESS MONEY. The meal was a huge disappointment, and I for one won't be returning to Morton's.
