the place was awesome. The workers were helpful and pleasant to talk to. The rooms were clean and spacious. I loved the water, and Godiva chocolate that they gave you every night.

I stayed at Seven Gables for an intimate getaway with my spouse and had the best time ever. This hotel is beautifully tucked away on North Meremac in Clayton, with a spiral staircase leading up to a cozy, romantic french style charm getaway suite!

We started our Seven Gables experience with a very nice fruit and cheese welcome, and some delicious warm cookies at the front desk which was so welcoming. Then headed up the staircase into our beautiful suite that is if I might add...amazing and such a comfortable night stay! I almost forgot to mention, a fabulous dinner at Molly Darcy's helped a great deal.....yuummm!!

Before leaving we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast offered that was an added touch that we really appreciated. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Thank you for your review.

We are so happy you find the hotel charming and cozy. It is definitely not your cookie cutter hotel and once you walk through the front doors you really don't feel like you are in the city any longer.

We look forward to seeing you again.

This is a quaint small hotel in the center of Clayton, MO. Great location if your son or daughter is at Washington University in St. Louis. We recommend it highly. Rooms are very comfortable and cozy. You are away from the big hotels and it is very quite. The staff is great. The attention to having a great stay is visible everywhere. There are a number of fine restaurants within one or two blocks. They have great chocolate chip cookies after 3 PM for the guests.

I have had two meetings at the Seven Gables. The venue is charming and just the right space for a meeting with 50 - 60 people. The staff greets clients at the door and makes them feel welcome. The set up is perfect, food great and staff very professional. Not your generic hotel meeting space.

Thank you for your kind review.

The Seven Gables Inn is such a unique place unlike any other in St. Louis. The hotel offers such a personal and intimate feel and the staff all take such great pride in their jobs and providing personal service to each of our guests.

If you are looking for something different than your cookie cutter hotel Seven Gables is the place to go and if you are looking for the one on one personal customer service the staff here is always willing to go above and beyond to assist our guests and make them feel truly valued and appreciated.

Thank you again and we look forward to working with you again!

A charming, welcoming haven in the middle of a very busy city. When I arrived I registered not at a cold check-in counter, but was seated at a lovely desk, offered
a warm (delicious) homemade cookie, and made to feel as though my comfort
really mattered to the staff. I don't find hotels to be very personal or appear to value
their customers as people. The Seven Gables is like coming home to people who
care and will take care of you -- and they do. The atmosphere is so congenial, at
breakfast several of us struck up a conversation about what our plans were for
the weekend. Try that at a regular, impersonal hotel. I can't recommend the Seven
Gables too highly, I just don't have the words. Try it - you'll see what I mean.

You know, I forgot to tell you about the beautiful view from my window. It overlooked
a lovely German style courtyard with tables and vines growing up the walls giving it
a most charming feeling. I have eaten in the courtyard during the spring and summer
and the setting has a genuine European feel. Delightful!
