If you are looking for a great place to stay and have fun this is it. My family have stayed here many time and are pleased with the place. Also a great place to stay and take in some fishing.

My husband and I have been coming here for years. There are new owners and they are very friendly and helpful.if you want clean and basic.this is your place. If you want a little bit of a treat and want a full kitchen then rent a cabin instead of a room. This resort is the closest one outside the actual park lodging..

On another note..there are plenty of good places to eat while you are there. In Cassville

,El Mariachi is great Mexican food, don't be fooled by the location.
The BBQ restaurant on the square has really good meat(I don't remember the name)

The restaurant in the state park's lodge has pretty good food but the view by the window is really nice(the service is rather slow so get there before you are too hungry)

Room Tip: pets up to 30 lbs(they are not allowed in the cabins only in the rooms)
