We found Gray's Cafe by cruising the streets of Butler, hoping for something besides fast food for lunch. And find it we did!
The place was packed; a woman offered us seats at her table. Friendly folks in Butler.
The menu options were typical of a good small town cafe. The prices were well within expectations. The food was excellent. We had the chicken fried steak (off the diets for the day). The gravy was definitely better than most.
The breakfast menu looked good, too.
The cafe was clean, decorations sparse (emphasis is on the food).
If you're near Butler, get off Hwy. 71, go into town and get some really good food.
