A great escape, clean, comfortable. Young family owners are constantly hands on working hard to keep resort up to date, constantly improving and trying to make sure their guests have a great experience. Very accomodating, with general store and food they cook to order if you don't want to cook, golf carts, boats, swimming pool, hot tub, etc.

Only draw back we saw since we are in the later years were the sloping terrain which is expected, the drives between and next to the cabins were somewhat unlevel and graveled areas had rock in with the gravel, making it hard for someone unsteady on their feet. Heavy rains this summer hasn't helped

Road down to the dock has asphalt and much easier to navigate. The dock is incredible, well lit with seating and picnic tables. Rather than rock & stairs going to the dock, we would prefer to see concrete or asphalt and a ramp for more secure footing or wheelchair access.

This is a great resort, great place for family reunion, we had 8 familys with kids and adults all ages. Owners offer the best customer service in town!

Glad to hear that everyone had a great family reunion at Lakeside Resort. The Corp of Engineers has allowed us to build the water access stairs/handrails with wood but does not allow concrete or other materials to be used. We are looking forward to seeing everyone again.

We stayed in Cabin 1 Waters Edge and loved the Lake view of Table Rock Lake. The cabin was very clean and we could sit on our porch and watch our grandkids swim and play in the lake. We purchased a new boat this year and my husband liked that he could see his boat in the Lakeside dock from our cabin. The food in the General Store was very good and our grandkids loved the free beads and magic shows that the owners daughter performed for them. We found Lakeside Resort on Trip Advisor and have already booked our vacation for next year.

I put my review under other as I was a last minute tag along with 5 other families and numerous children. Upon arriving at the resort it was apparent that this resort was different. Rick, Stephanie, and their children really project and make sure that you feel like family.

We encountered a problems with out Jet Skis and Rick was right there on the spot helping, offering advice, we put in a new battery, some Sea Foam, and got her running (it was an old ski, that needed to be retired) lol

I can not say enough about how well I was treated by Rick and his family. If you are a thrill seeker then ask Rick about the local cliffs. The Kettells children can be found working and roaming the resort doing odd jobs or having fun fishing. They were some of the best mannered children I've met. Kudos to Rick & Stephanie.

When you visit Lakeside Resort and General store, make sure to visit the cliffs and take the plunge. Thanks to Carson and Zach for guiding me up the bluffs.

FOOD: If you are hungry from a long day on the lake and whooped from jumping 65' cliffs (which you will be) Order up a "Grinder", world famous fresh potato salad, and a Dr Pepper" from Stephanie, you wont regret it and will probably come back for more. Thanks Stephanie

BOATS: They offer a wide variety of boats, from Pontoon, to ski, to paddle. All in all this resort has EVERYTHING you need for a Lakeside Solo/Family/Group Vacation.

I give it 5 STARS!

Rick I look forward to seeing you and the family next year.

V/r,

Shane

Rick and Stephanie (the owners) were wonderful to us and our handicapped son from the moment we arrived until we left. The food at the General Store was great. It's amazing how many good things they packed into a small place. The boats look well maintained and Rick is generous with fishing advice. Our cabin was clean and kept us cool even when the outside temperature topped 100 degrees. My wife, our son and I had a most relaxing three days.

Lakeside Resort & General Store aims to please and make your stay comfortable, enjoyable with plenty of peace and tranquility. The owners and their family attend to your every need with great food cooked on spot and delivered to your needs, a general store for those items you forgot or need for cooking/grilling at your cabin, wonderful cold specialty treats, a great supply of souveniers, including personalized T's. Additionally, awesome lake view with watercrafts of sorts to rent and discover beautiful Tablerock Lake. A pool to relax in once your off the lake or relax in the lake at the dock. The neighboring cabin visitors are quiet and it seems everyone respects each others privacy and vacation time. This was our first visit and we plan to go back annually and have reserved our spot next summer two x. We are going to do another short trip mid Sept.

We have been to this resort for 2 years now. And looking forward to go again next year. The cabins were very comfortable and clean. Love swimming off the boat dock and how you can sit back and relax. We had cabin 1&2, the view was beautiful. My grandkids loved to go fishing and swimming in the lake and pool. Rick, Stephanie and kids are wonderful people. We love visiting with them every year. They are always ready to help in anyway and the General Store is great. It has good food and everything you possibly will need while staying there. I find this very nice because you don't have to drive all over. If you have not stayed there, you have to go and check it out. It is worth it!!! Just want to THANK Rick & Stephanie for everything that they have done for me and my family. I am so glad that we found your resort. Have a great rest of the year and see you next year in July.
