“Great Room, Off the Strip”
Reviewed April 16, 2012

The hotel room was very nice sized. We loved the king sized bed. I am personally not a fan of feather pillows, but they were tolerable. Water pressure in the room was pretty bad. The tv in the bedroom was easy to watch on the wall on the end of the bed. The sales people called a couple of times a day to take a tour, but we just ended up ignoring the calls. Close to the lake, but the shops and food were a bit of a drive each time. Overall we would stay here again.

We stayed at Branson at the Meadows from April 1, 2012 - April 8, 2012. We stayed in a 2 bedroom 8 occupancy condo thru RCI. We traveled with our 2 young children and friends who stayed in a different room. Our room in Building 300 was on the 1st floor. Quite spacious and comfortable. There were plenty of ammenities, in-room laundry facilites, all small appliances (blender, etc.), pool towels, etc. Everything was clean, and in good condition except for our coffee maker. The entire side of the coffeemaker was cracked so all the water seeped out the side. We called the desk and the staff responded with a new maker within 10 minutes. The resort is huge with 5 outdoor pools and an indoor pool. Although the outdoor pool were not suppose to be open until May, they did open the main outdoor pool early so our kids were able to enjoy it during the hot days which was nice. Several of the hot tubs were open as well. There was always a running shuttle to which you could ride from the recreation building to your room, etc.
The only negative thing I would mention (and it really isnt a big deal) is there is absolutely NO cupboard space to store any groceries. All the cupboards contain dishes and appliances so it was a little difficult storing items.

We stayed at The Meadows the week of April 1. The town has some damage but not too bad. The resort was nice! They offered a dinner and show at a reasonable cost at the resort. The show was very good and the food was ok. Too cold for the outdoor pools but they have plenty when weather is warm! It was just a great place to relax!

I was rather happy at this resort the cushions actually stayed on the couch. Most of the Wyndham Resorts we have stayed you were not able to keep cushions on the couch.

The staff was very pleasant!

The kids enjoyed the indoor pool, played shuffle board, and basketball.

My wife, her brother and sister-in-law, and I checked into the Wyndham Branson at the Meadows on Sunday, March 25th for a week's vacation through RCI's Extra Vacation. We had a wonderful top floor (4th) two bedroom unit overlooking the lagoon, the two fountains, a covey of ducks, the swimming pool and the spa, had adequate parking, and an elevator to all floors in the building #9. The unit was spacious, comfortable, and accessible for my partially handicapped wife. This was our second stay there, the first being in 2009. The entertainment capitol of the US is certainly Branson, MO.

  • Liked — The staff is beyond good, the location is convenient, amenities great.
  • Disliked — Could have used more eating utensils so that washing dishes less often.

This is one of the nicest and SPACIOUS rooms we've stayed in, everything was clean to the eye until you looked up and saw the cobwebs and dust all over the chandelier. But the linens were all clean the everything else we used. My only major gripe is that I was unable to get the wifi in my room, I had to go outside all week to do anything on the laptop. Luckily we were near the amphitheater and I could sit there and use it but very inconvenient. Over all I will rate it a 4 only because of the cobwebs and internet other than that, NICE.

We have vacationed at Wyndham Branson at the Meadows for the last 3 years. It is beautifully maintained and well equipped. I've never felt "obligated" to attend the time share presentations. Most recently, we were close to the adult pool and a wonderful waterfall. The resort is located a couple of miles off 76 Blvd., Branson's main drag, which makes it easy to access. Branson has designated several routes that allow you to avoid the traffic and you can easily do so from Wyndham Branson at the Meadows. Among planned activities, should you be so inclined, is a Branson "'sampler." 10-12 acts from Branson shows do a song or two from their shows. A meal is included and the price is very reasonable. We loved the show and actually chose to attend 2-3 of the full shows. Pointe Royale Golf Course is located next door to the resort.

Excellent front desk service, nice accommodations, beds very comfortable, They now have internet in the room, BUT, if you want to ruin your vacation let someone from member services come with their coupon book and survey. Bill was VERY rude. Some say The meadows is in a bad loacation, No, its very handy to the yellow and red routes that will get you away from the strip. They even helped with noisy, rude upstairs occupants at 11 p.m.
