“What a delightful experience!!!”
Reviewed October 29, 2013

We booked reservations October 25-27 for my birthday. Had never stayed here before. What a wonderful surprise in that it was a beautiful condo. We stayed in Building H on the 2nd floor. Had a fireplace, jacuzzi and screened in porch. The rooms were clean and well furnished. It was quiet but close enough to the center of Branson to enjoy both the lake and the city. We are definitely going back possibly in the spring!!!!

My wife and I just spent 4 days at the gorgeous Still Waters Resort and did not want to leave. The room was a one bedroom with fireplace. We enjoyed the fireplace and just relaxing together. The large jacuzzi tub was also ideal to unwind in. The hot tubs were all open and we were able to enjoy the cane pole fishing and paddle boats. What a great place and we can't wait to return on our next trip. We also visited the War Eagle Mill Craft Fair which was great and in such a beautiful town. Love the resort and all the staff as they are very friendly all the time.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the lake/marina. Great sunsets every night.

We stayed M-Th. Was very quiet during the week. We had neighbors but could not hear them inside. Bring paper towels, kleenex, and shampoo. The condo we stayed in was recently remodeled and very clean. Nice screened in porch. We loved the fall discount.

We made our reservation being promised Bldg G (recently renovated). When we arrived they had changed our reservation to Bldg H. Fortunately, Gregg was able to switch it back for us. The one bedroom condo was in excellent condition, nicely laid out and well furnished. The fireplace and screened in patio were appreciated extras.

Be sure to bring your own shampoo and Kleenex (they don't provide it)

We stayed at the Still Water Resort during a weekend trip with our kids. The resort is near Table Rock Lake on Indian Pointe, so you are just down the road from Silver Dollar City but a bit farther away if you want to see the sights on Highway 76. As a guest, you can enjoy free canoe, bike, paddle boat, and fishing pole rental. They have specials on jet ski and pontoon boat rentals as well. There is a playground, basketball court, and volleyball court. There are three pools-one has a waterfall, bridge, and stepping stones, the second is very plain Jane, and the third has a tunnel slide. There are kiddie pools and hot tubs as well. The pools are open depending on the weather, but the hot tubs are open until December. To use the amenities, you have to wear a wristband the duration of your trip, which can be a bit annoying. They also have an on site marketplace where you can order pizza, but they close fairly early in the fall.

Because we were on a budget, I booked a standard room. I was a little nervous after reading the mixed reviews on trip advisor, but we were placed in one of the renovated rooms and it was well above what I expected. The room itself is the size of a regular motel room. It has some cabinets stocked with cutlery and dishes, a dorm-size fridge, a microwave, and a toaster. There is a small table with two seats and there was a nice flat-screen mounted on the wall. One drawback is that the bathroom was pretty cramped and the sink was in the bedroom. It was built into a cove between the bathroom and closet but it was small and provided little counter space. Some reviews complained of the noise in their rooms but we didn't experience this at all. We were on the third floor and didn't hear anyone next to us or above us the entire trip.

There are luggage carts and elevators available, which was nice since we were on the third floor. One drawback, they do not offer maid services and you have to drop off/pick up your own towels each day and take care of your own trash. They only have hours between 9:00am and 2:00pm, so if you miss the times, you have to go to the front office to get new towels. They offer on-site laundry, but be sure to bring change. They do not have a change machine and the nearby game room only spits out tokens (we learned that the hard way). Check-out is a little earlier than most places (10:00 a.m.) and if you leave your room dirty, you'll be charged a "cleaning fee" of $250. We leave our hotel rooms clean anyways, but I was extra paranoid about making sure everything was just as we found it.

Overall, it is was a good experience but we'll likely stay at a hotel on our next trip to Branson. Taking care of your own towels, trash, etc. makes it feel like house chores instead of a vacation.

The condo was clean & staff friendly when we checked in. They did a good job answering all my questions.

However, Still Water was just a little to crowded for our taste. The pool was very crowded & seemed dirty. All the buildings were very close together...felt like it was a college campus apartment complex with all the cars & buildings tightly squeezed in together.

If you can splurge & go to Big Cedar. Worth the extra money for sure.

Loved it! We had a three bedroom, each one had it's own washroom which was fantastic! Price was great, lots of free stuff for the kids to do, and still had a washer and dryer so I didn't go home with a ton of laundry to catch up on. Wish we lived closer so we could go back more often!
