“Very enjoyable stay.”
Reviewed April 23, 2013

My wife and i stayed for 3 days as a little get away from the kids. We liked the idea that it was off the strip but yet less than 10 mins away. Even though there were several cars in the lot the hotel never seemed crowed. Check-in was simple and the staff was very friendly.
The only con was we took our laptop to look-up local attractions and view the home webcam but found out it cost $10 to access the Wifi.

I attended a 2013 Prom April 20. The service was very good, as in taking our plates and filling our glasses. Everybody around the hotel was very nice. It was a very enjoyable night. The only downside was that the food was NOT very good at all. They served mini hamburger sliders and potato wedges. I heard the burgers were okay, but the wedges weren't very good. The horderves very good. The other main dish was noodles and different sauces. My noodles were really really hard and a little colder than luke warm. My Alfredo sauce was a little yellow and pretty cold. Everything just had a bland flavor, and the garlic bread sticks were a little hard. I have always heard wonderful food reviews from the Chateau, so it was probably just a one time thing. I would recommend my friends here for lunch! Thank you for your service!

The Chateau was all we anticipated. It is luxurious, clean, quiet, spectacular views in every direction. Service was excellent. We actually got locked out on our balcony! and had to phone a friend to contact the front desk and they had us off the patio in no time at all. It was super. The pool area was sparking clean, the hot tub good and hot and vigorous. It met all our expectations. There are eating and shopping venues in the building but they on the pricey side. You can enjoy a weekend here without all the high expense. There are restaurants off site that are great too. HIGHLY recommend. I got an online deal and a great price and that's the way to book this one.......

I love this place. Stay there every year with my family. We also love Branson and aside from Branson's landing, this is the only luxury property. This hotel is luxurious on its own merits, though, not just because it is an unexpected surprise in Branson. The best part about the hotel is the pool that overlooks the lake, with servers available to wait on you at the pool! There are a lot of activities ..free movie theatre, ice cream parlor (not free but fun for the kids), bedtime bear who delivers cookies and milk to the kids each night, roasting marshmallows by the fire (there are always nightly activities in the summer, although my kids are usually too worn out from swimming to attend. We've just seen them from our balcony at night.) This place is great. Its like a five star summer camp. A great place to make memories with your family!!! This place is like none other hotel at which we've stayed. Very unique experience. Pricey though. A family weekend could easily cost close to $1,000 depending on room type, food and beverage, etc. The only downer is their upscale restaurant. It is lovely but they just cant seem to get that one right. Menu is always comprised of elaborate attempts at world class food and it just flops everytime. Oh and it costs no less than $150-$200, with wine, for a family of four. The restaurant pretends to be a New York restaurant, and prices itself accordingly, but the fact that it is an impostor quickly becomes apparent. Id rather see it not try so hard to be something it isn't. Be honest.....do something a little less complicated and do a really good job at it; your empty tables will start to fil up!! Otherwise I love this quaint resort hotel.

Room Tip: Lake view rooms are really a treat!

The hotel's photos don't do this place justice. It is even more beautiful in person. The grounds were immaculate and well-kept. This hotel (resembling a palace) is atop a hill providing amazing views of Table Rock Lake and the surrounding hills. You'll want to take a stroll on the grounds. Self-parking is free, ample, and convenient. Check-in was fast and efficient. Everyone we encountered went above and beyond in terms of customer service. We got the sense that everyone truly enjoyed working there and the friendliness was consistent and genuine. One of the employees was on her way out, but took 15 minutes of her own time to give us a tour around the hotel! The lobby has a stream filled with goldfish and mini-waterfalls. It really makes you feel as though you've stepped into an oasis. We stayed in a corner Lake Front Ambassador suite which was amazing. The corner suite had two balcony views (with the bedroom featuring a full balcony with table and chairs facing the lake). These suites include a mini fridge and microwave so you can keep snacks in your room. The mattress was quite comfortable and everything was clean and tidy.

The room service menu is less than exciting especially if you order multiple meals. You either have to order a $30+ entree or $14 sandwich/burger. There aren't many appetizers from which to choose and as are most room service menus, it's all a bit pricey. In addition, they charge a $3 delivery fee and 18% gratuity. Room service ends at 11pm and there aren't any nearby restaurants so if you stay out late partying, plan in advance for snacks.

If you have a long day of sight-seeing in Branson or Silver Dollar City, you'll want to spend the evening relaxing in these inviting suites. They had a lot of movies available for order (including some movies still in the theater) with prices ranging from $5 - $16. There's also a free movie theater (no new movies) in the hotel and if there's no one else waiting to see the scheduled movie, you can request a showing from the other movies they have available. It's pretty cool to have a theater all to yourself.

Some people might find the resort's price tag a bit steep but the cleanliness, excellent customer service, and comfort make it an excellent choice. We will definitely stay here next time we visit this area.

Room Tip: Ask for a corner room especially if you get a suite. This way you'll have double balconies. Also...

Very nice get away. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a movie theater that they will play show AFTER hours if you request. The pool is open 24 hours. The Sunday brunch should be marked as dangerously good. Dinning in style. Live piano being played during brunch. You feel like you will have personalized staff to help you. My cup was never empty and the person was there with refills. This is an excellent place to unwind, get away, or have simple family trip. You could stay at resort and have a very good time. ONLY improvement which is my personal style- I wish they would move to more glass luxury vs rustic luxury.----GREAT PLACE~!

Room Tip: Select Lakefront view and request balcony at check in.

This is an expensive resort. The views are wonderful and the staff is very helpful and friendly. We have stayed here many times. The spa is terrific and very, very quiet. The food is good; the specials are worth trying. Ice water is given poolside during the summer days. It is outside of Branson but great after a hectic day. Couples love the atmosphere. Kids have a play area near the pool. You may want to call the resort directly and ask about any specials/promotions. Also if you are part of a convention there, ask to extend your stay at a discounted rate.
