Crystal Cove Bed and Breakfast

We booked this trip over the Memorial Day weekend to simply get away, relax and unwind from the pressures of the city life. We were not disappointed. Crystal Cove is tucked away in a private neighborhood about 8 miles from the Branson strip which we found to be PERFECT. We were still close enough to visit Branson attractions and restaurants but could always retreat to our country cabin. We spent many hours sitting on the front porch listening to the waterfall and chatting, or walking down to visit the pot-bellied pigs in their pen - they were so cute! There was a wonderful wash house stocked with snacks and drinks at all times. We are looking forward to revisiting this Christmas!

Nice piece of property however it was on a dusty residental street. The innkeeper did great with what they have. We stayed in the front cabin which was roomy & had everything that we needed. It was clean & comfortable. The garden & sitting areas were pleasant & quiet. Breakfast was fantastic both in taste & decor. The innkeepers were charming. If you're traveling into Branson this is an easy location to stay at. I would stay again.

We stayed at Crystal Cove bed and breakfast in August. I have to say we had a great time. We stayed in the private cabin, it was the sports cabin. It had a huge king size log bed, 2 fireplaces, 2 bathrooms, and a 2 person jacuzzi. It was a great weekend getaway. I agree with other reviews that there is hardly any view of the lake from the cabins, but we did have deer come right up to our door! You need to be in very good shape to walk the path to the lake, its a long way back up the hill! The path is washed out and very uneven, be careful you dont sprain an ankle. Not really much to see when you get to the lake. I loved the decor of the cabin, and all the antiques throughout it. My only complaint is that the cabin had a funny smell to it. I always bring candles and room deoderizer with me on trips, and I used them alot in the cabin. Maybe the owners need to look into what is causing the smell. A few times we also smelled gas outside the cabins, dont know what that was all about. The breakfast was wonderful, it was fun talking to the other guests. All in all, we will probably return next year.

Overall I really enjoyed the stay. I was looking for a place to get away with my girlfriend, and this proved to be the ideal spot. We had no problems, and Bob seemed extremely nice and we enjoyed his company at breakfast.

The room looked great and was very clean. The small fish pond was a very nice touch to the scenery. Also, the pet pigs provided quite a laugh as we never guessed that's what was in the pen out back.

Personally, we had plenty of towels for our stay (as we had probably 4 or 5 for two people). Also, Bob went out of his way to get things done as it seemed he was hard at work for most of our time there.

The path to the lake wasn't clear, but given the recent weather conditions and the fact that it was a busy time for the family, it wasn't completely unexpected. Based on my interactions with Bob and the way everything else was run, I have to assume that once he gets more time on his hands, those issues will be cleared up.

I would recommend this to family and friends and can guarantee that the girlfriend and I will be back next time we head the Branson way.

My husband and I headed to Branson in order to celebrate our 4-year anniversary. We chose Crystal Cove B & B based on the website and conversations we had with the owners. We wanted a quiet destination where we could enjoy Table Rock Lake, fish and take in the bed and breakfast experience. From the moment we pulled up, it was a disaster. The lake could not be seen through all the trees... not to mention we were too far away to access it by foot! The boat accommodations that we called and inquired about involved a short gravel drive located on the downward slope of the mountain (we spent the entire trip worried that our boat would lose its foothold). The room was cute, although we found out by day three that there is no one around to offer clean towels or other toiletries (There is a "wash room" were we could have washed our own towels!). We actually had to drive into town and buy toilet paper because we were unable to contact the owners to replenish the one roll we were initially supplied with. Breakfast was said to be served at 9am. When we headed down to the breakfast room at 9:45am the first morning, we were astonished to see that everything was already packed up, cleaned up and the owners had left for the day. To top it all off, we did not go into the "check-in" office once the entire trip as there was never anyone present... we spent 4 nights and 5 days at this place without ever signing one piece of paper!

Wow! If this was actually true, we would be out of business. We work very hard to make sure our guest have a wonderful time while staying with us. I do not understand, all of our other guest have never had a problem getting in touch with us. Its really sad that you would post something like this. I feel very sorry for you!

We just returned from our visit to Crystal Cove. We enjoyed it so much. We stayed in the Victorian Room. It was just beautiful! The owners are very friendly and breakfast was very good. The landscaping is beautiful. It is away from the busy strip, but still close. If you like the rustic look, you will love to stay here. We will definitely be returning to Crystal Cove!

The cabins were better than hotel or motel rooms by far and the service was good, however the Bed & Breakfast is towards the end of a residential street with little to no view of Table Rock Lake from the cabins and a bit of a steep hike to the lake. If you are looking to get away from civilization, look elseware. It's also clearly geared toward couples, not something negative or positive, but rather something families might want to know before hand. OK for the price, but nothing spectacular.
