“Extraordinary hotel-no comparison”
Reviewed December 9, 2010

We booked one of the penthouse suites as an anniversary gift to ourselves. It was equipped with a full kitchen and dining area. There was one bedroom off of the fully equipped living area, with a king size bed. One Bathroom with a walk-in shower and bathtub. The living area and the bedroom were equipped with 55" televisions that could be observed throughout both areas. The living area had a fold out couch/bed for additional guests. Both rooms were ringed with "floor to ceiling" plate glass windows for an unforgettable view of the city and the river. The rate per night was $240 plus tax. The room was exceptionally clean and well taken care of. A minor dissapointment was that there wasn't a washer/dryer in the room. The hotel is well within walking distance of the landing and was well within walking distance of the local Starbucks (although it was very busy every morning-and did not handle a line very well at all). The hotel staff was very friendly at all times. The hotel had an indoor and an outdoor pool with an indoor hot tub. Ironically the outdoor pool was kept at a much better temperature than the indoor pool (which was freezing cold). The hot tub could accomodate about 4 people. The fitness facility was equipped with modern equipment, that had little wear and tear. The convention facility area was very expansive and could facilitate a very large conference if needed. The hotel had an upscale restaurant (never tried it though), and a bar on the second floor, just off of the main conference walkway. Overall, i would definately stay here again. The penthouse suite was well worth it for any kind of week/weekend outing.

Stayed for some shopping and shows in Branson over Thanksgiving holiday. We loved this hotel and the wonderful location. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Starbucks just across the street was very nice and convenient. Only thing unfavorable worth mentioning was the self-parking fee of $8, however, it is covered parking and attached to the hotel so there is some added value to that...

The hotel was conveniently located near "The Landing", restaurants and town. The room accomodations and meeting arrangements were excellent!

The only problem I see is the bar does not cater to the average age of the travelers staying at the hotel. At 51, I would say I was one of the youngest people staying at the hotel. The DJ was playing music (TECHNO or some such noise) that did not come close to meeting the needs of potential customers, most of whom walked in and rght back out when they heard the noise. I was with 2 friends. We all agreed much business was lost that night. A real problem from a business perspective.

I asked the DJ and the male manager for the evening if the music could be changed and was told "NO, that is what the owner wants us to play".

Unless the owner is in his/her 20s, I pretty much think they were not telling the truth.

Customer service/satisfaction were definitely not front and center.

We stayed in Branson in September for two nights during our trip in the USA. The hotel is perfectly situated at the Branson Landing. Should you not go for a show, you don´t actually need to leave the hotel in the evening, since the food and the atmosphere in the Hilton restaurant are very good. Afterwards if you want to go to the bar, yes, the ladies, who worked at the bar, were very friendly and service minded.

The vallet service was most friedly, and gave us very good information about the surrounds etc. What was a very nice gesture from the reception was the fact that there was no extra charge for the vallet service for the two nights. I had at that time "only" a silver vip by Hilton (after the trip I am now Gold vip!)

This hotel is very recommendable!

This is really a stunning property, not at all a "convention center" style hotel. The decor is well-conceived and executed. Although modern in style, the effect overall is very soothing. Great attention was even paid to the lay-out and decor of the fitness center and indoor pool area, amazing!

Rooms are spacious and upscale. Beds are sublime.

The service is top-notch. The staff is very well trained and professional while also exuding the charm of the area. They went out of their way to please at all levels -- housekeeping, valet, bell staff, front desk. Valet parking is a major bargain, only $2 more per day than self parking and we never waited more than 3 minutes for our car to appear.

The location is ideal as it is just across from Branson Landing with many lovely shops and restaurants. However, recommend you don't stray too far from Level 2, the restaurant at the hotel. We had several lovely meals there (tried breakfast, lunch, dinner, all good). The food is top quality, ambience is great, and service is very good. The steaks are terrific quality and perfectly cooked. The only drawback is that the chef has a heavy hand with salt (and this is coming from a real salt addict) so ask that he restrain himself a bit when you order.

We stayed here 5 nights and could have easily stayed 5 more. Hated to leave, will definitely return.

Very Nice, Perfect location, beautiful setting. In my opinion, anyone that would give a bad review, would probably complain about everything.

I was pleasantly surprised by Hilton Branson Convention Center hotel. I have to admit, as an avid traveler I'm not sure what to expect - it is beautiful! The hotel is immaculate and has a rugged, modern finish. We ate at Level 2 (the hotel's steak house) and they even allow guests to choose their "weapon" (steak knife) of choice - eat there 5 times and they will engrave it for you and have your specific knife available the next time you come! I had the fish special, fantastic! After dinner I hopped across the street (literally across the street) to the Promenade - the shopping and nightly water show is not to be missed!

My hotel room was a gorgeous suite, complete with it's own balcony and I headed outside to sit next to the pool (a bit chilly for a dip) and they had a nice fire going. Love it!
