“Great Campground”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

Very clean. Large pull thrus sites for big rigs. Nice area near convention center for the pull thrus, this is nearest to the kamp k9 as well. Pool is good size with warm water. Store has everything you need. Clean laundry facilities. We stopped at the store to get show tickets. We were given excellent seats to Legends in Concert. Staff are helpful and always friendly. Campground is very hilly. However ALL of Branson is hilly so expect this wherever you go while your visiting the area. This KOA does an excellent job at level sites throughout the grounds.

Room Tip: Stay close to Kamp K9 if you can. Its at the top of the hill. No climbing to the pool. However this...

This is one of the nicer KOA Campgrounds in US. Located conveniently to downtown and little closeby malls. Helpful and friendly hosts. Quiet during the three days we were there. Cute dog park and dog friendly campground. Gave stuggestions as to what shows they felt people might enjoy, making reservations.
Would go back again.

Room Tip: All sites are spacious with some sites that have a patio with furniture and woodburning stove.

This campground is nice and the staff is very friendly. I changed my mind about bringing my dog and they didnt charge me the pet fee. We stayed in a cabin with a bathroom, no kitchen. The cabin was typical, small and a little dusty, but we just swept it out with the provided broom. The bed was extremely comfortable and after chasing out a couple spiders from the sink, we settled in. A couple issues, we were the only cabin in our area with an old wooden door, there was a huge gap at the bottom, we had to plug it with one of our towels and two gaps by the lock. In a place where there are so many mosquitos, this should not be. The shower needs a lip on it because water goes all over the floor..I needed to use another one of my towels. The campground doesnt provide fire pits, you have to bring your own..not sure how to transport something like that. The location is fantastic, you are off the main strip so it is quiet. This KOA provided the most delicious fluffy pancakes for FREE! You can purchase drinks, sausage and other breakfast items for a nominal fee.

This was a nice little campground. Had the usual things that a KOA would offer. Seemed to be more older adults than children. They have area for children to play, but they offer no children's activities. Cabins were very nice & clean. Office & store closed very early though.

Thank you for your review. Office hours during the summer are 8 am - 8 pm. Our campground offers a pool with a slide, a jumping pillow and one of the largest playgrounds in town. Our location makes it very convenient to do all the things that Branson has to offer. We do hope to see you and your family again.

We booked one night in a "deluxe" cabin because our preferred location did not have a rails polity for all our nights. Usually we camp, but our rig was out for repairs. This was nastier than as cheap motel. The ceiling had rust on it, there were stains on the light covers which are on the wall right next to the bed where your head, the water pressure was so abysmal it took a full ten minutes for the toilet to quit running after a flush. The grill was actually on another person's campsite. The "stocked" kitchen utensils lacked basic measuring cups and the hodgepodge of cutlery was like a garage sale special. Oh, and you have to put the sheets on the bed yourself. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Wilderness or Compton Ridge! KOA should be ashamed for even offering these accommodations. Not to mention, there is only a tiny area to park your vehicle.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that our property did not live up to your expectations. As the manager I do wish that you had taken the time to seek me out and express your concerns in person. We strive to ensure all of our guests have a great time on our park and would have gladly tried to accomodate you in that regards.

Location was convenient- miss the woodsy feel of a campground but guess that's to be expected in Branson. Campground was quiet, the bathrooms were clean, we enjoyed the free pancakes and the opportunity to buy tickets at a discount.

Campground was very clean and well kept. Bathrooms are very clean and heated very well. Only draw back would be the entrance into the campground. Very large dip which causes trailer hitch to drag. Many gouge marks are present from past RV'ers, be careful.
