We've seen Kirby's show a few times, the last time being probably about 6 years ago. He used to have a really good show. Because we've enjoyed his show in the past we decided to see it when we traveled to Branson last weekend. The theater stinks. Literally. It smells musty and is run down. The guy that does card tricks and tries to get you to buy stuffed tigers before the show was not very entertaining. Kirby used to have a great warm up act, Circus Boy if my memory isn't failing me. He was great but this current card trick guy....not so much. The show started late, and not just a few minutes late, almost a half hour late. When the curtain finally went up, there was some kind of incident during the first trick and the curtain suddenly went down again. After some time, card trick guy came back out and told the audience that a member of the show was injured and they were trying to figure out how the show would go on without this member. Quite a while later the curtain finally went back up and the show went on. Not a word of apology from Kirby nor any acknowledgement of the delay or inconvenience for the audience. We've got a guess about "who" was injured but because it's just a guess I'll keep that to myself.

Kirby was obviously not having fun. He just went through the motions, no energy or enthusiasm. His last act which is talked up throughout the show as being such a big amazing act finally came. There was no build up or dramatic pretending to do magic, he just basically said here's my big act and pointed at the curtain which went up and there sat a helicopter. Yawn. He's did this same trick last time we saw his show and it was done with so much more flourish years ago. We were truly amazed at how awful the show is now, especially considering how good it used to be.

Don't waste your money on this show. It's horrible and Kirby did not sign autographs after the show or during the intermission either. Save your money and go see a good show.

Just by the look of the old theater and fact that it was not very crowded made us a little hesitant at first, but it ended up being a great show! Even the illusions where you knew what they were doing they did them so well we were amazed. I loved the fact that Kirby shared God's word at the end! You don't see that often, he has a great opportunity to reach many people, great job Kirby!

Love magic and illusions and was looking forward to this show. We went to a Sunday night show and sat in the 9th row which turned out to be the last row of people in the theater that easily would have held 3 - 4 times the number attending. Kirby is somewhat low key, but with the small audience everything seemed slow. On one illusion he wanted the audience to react to something he said and when the reaction wasn't what he expected he told his assistant to move on to the next illusion. The illusions were all top notch, but the performance was very low energy and felt even lower with the small crowd. His wife also does illusions in the show and is very good as well.

Loved everything about this show. Loved the illusions, big cats, snake, the dancers, the young apprentice magicians, His beautiful talented wife, Brandi, and most of all - the message about his grandma at end... my favorite...

We saw the kirby show which was my bf first time but I've seen it 3 or 4 times over the past 10 years now. It's amazing and will leave you rubbing your eyes...great tricks and they're a wonderful act. Nice clean theater but a little off the beaten path. Worth the drive to find it though.
