We saw the kirby show which was my bf first time but I've seen it 3 or 4 times over the past 10 years now. It's amazing and will leave you rubbing your eyes...great tricks and they're a wonderful act. Nice clean theater but a little off the beaten path. Worth the drive to find it though.

“Must See Attraction”
Reviewed November 10, 2012

The Kirby VanBurch Theatre offers a unique performance and perspective on the art of "magic." Kirby and his wife Bambi, emphasize that the show is a series of "illusions," rather than calling it magic. The subtle Christian theme of the show is presented by a soft-spoken, likable husband and wife team, rather than obnoxious show people. The show is a mixture of illusion and art as there is a type of artistic dance incorporated into the act. It is all very well done and entertaining, and I defy anyone to figure out how the illusions are done! The staff of the theatre is very courteous and helpful. We had a handicapped person in our party, and the staff went above and beyond the call of duty in accommodating that person's needs. Jeff in the ticket booth was particularly helpful, but we appreciated all of the staff at the theatre. This show is a must see if you are in Branson, particularly, if you have children in your party!

Excellent Show!! Took my very hard to impress 13 year old grandson to see the show. He is the kind of boy who thinks he knows all the answers...all the tricks... HA! Not this time.... We debated and guessed the whole way home of how he was able to pull off illusions like that. This show truly had us in awe... I've already recommended all my facebook friends to go see Kirby if in the Branson area.

This show was a blast!! Highly recommend it! We were I.trigued from the start to finish. Recommend getting backstage cat pass and pass for pictures during intermission. Also get a seat up front. You see everything and get involved in show. Plus great military discount.

“Good family show”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

We have seen Kirby many times over the past seven years. He is really good. He puts on a great show. Many of his illusions are ones that we have seen since the first time we saw him...still mind boggling. Love the way he ends his show sharing his faith, subtle but so meaningful. He is so talented..wish he would find a couple of new illusions to share. We hadn't seen the show in two years and not much had changed. Bambi, his wife? (I had heard two years ago they divorced but she's back in his show. He doesn't introduce her as his wife in the show like he used to. She is Bambi Von Burch.) Our whole family could do without the "magic" of Bambi. Her illusions aren't as "seasoned" as Kirby's. There's one illusion where she is blindfolded and turns around with her back to the audience. Kirby goes into the audience where he has audience members holding up small items. He chooses several, one at a time, and Bambi tells you what he's holding. We have seen this one from day one..he always holds up the same "stuff"..never anything new. It's good the first time you see it. This is a good show consistent show. There is also a back stage tour you can take. We took this about 4 years ago and it was fun to see the cats up close and personal. Not sure how much that has changed since we chose not to do it this time. I would definitely recommend it if it's your first time to see the show.
