My wife and I went here twice this past weekend (gift cards) and were disappointed with the slow service and the taste of our food. The second time we ate here we ordered pizzas which were better than the pasta but not unbelievable. The prices are as high or higher than Olive Garden but does not include salad and breadsticks. You do however get bread and some olive oil to dip it in. not my favorite.......probably won't go back. S

Gordon who??? Are you kidding me, this is a restaurant with meals at 10.00 or less, anyone with a taste bud would know the sauces are made fresh, they are excellent. Gordons price points 50.00! For the price points this restaurant is a great value, with VERY GOOD food. So anyone who wants a great value on really good food, dine here.

We didn't know what to expect when my boyfriend and I went to the Florentina's, because it was a "Brick Oven" and there wasn't a lot of info out there. But we'd seen menus at The Mount Pleasant Winery--so figured it couldn't be too bad. We were so surprised! It was very cute and "Italian Eatery" on the inside. There was something neat to look at where ever you were. The food was so delicious and really surprising. The wine is, of course, over-priced, so don't order the Harvest White--you can get it for $8 a bottle (it's GOOD) next door at the Mt. Pleasant Winery), but the other wines you can't get locally and might be worth your time.) We wished we had left room for dessert, and we WILL be going back there again the next time we're in town!

First, I am not overly critical, but this is NOT Italian. But I felt like Gordon Ramsey here; "items, not fresh.... too many items.... inconsistent food!" We will not return.
Most items are from can/jar, not fresh. Not even the parmesan. There were many items on the menu-so lots of choices. Every item was either pasta or had potatoes and green beans. So, lots of carbs, as expected. Bread is fresh, good. Seriously, the only fresh item. The dipping sauce was olive oil, dried basil, garlic salt, black pepper. (it needed balsamic vinegar and real garlic). Apple pecan salad: iceberg lettuce, those overcoated pecans-in-a-can candied walnuts, small amt of gorgonzola, craisons, apples were okay. Dressing seemed homemade, (easy to prepare) $9.50. I had the chicken appetizer (speidini) and the chicken was so dry on the skewers (and very thin) that they were very difficult to pull off the sticks (which broke a few times). It was over-breaded and clearly was from frozen. It was sitting on a well oiled (not evoo) stack of red peppers and onions. $6.50. The marinara dipping sauce was the pre-jarred kind, not fresh. My husband had the fettucine which was a "C-". The pasta and the sauce were not fresh and not buttery. $25 too much for plain fettucine. They seemed to use prepared sauces here. NOW, the pizza, as Gordon would say, "ghastly". Extremely thin, burnt. Sauce, etc all premade. Possibly could make their own dough, but who could tell. Even smelled bad. and salty. They say "house cheese blend", but they only blend the 2 pre-packaged dried cheese. Sorry, not a good place, but nice atmosphere and service. Otherwise would be a 2.
Many items were "family style" and this is a very nice place for families. The prices are moderate, although too much for that fettucine. Think Olive Garden. Nice light atmosphere. Xlnt Service. We sat in the bar so it could be a little quieter. There were booths there as well. We had had a long trip and so many kids were hopped up after spending the day at Silver CIty.

Food quality in Branson is not consistent but we've been satisfied with every dish in this restaurant so far. When not perfect (for example, with slightly overcooked veggie lasagna ingredients), the food has still been tasty and what's done right can be memorable. The service is good and even when the place is crowded our food has come out pretty quickly.
