“Beautiful Theater With Poor Parking!!!!”
Reviewed October 20, 2012

The Mansion Theater is beautiful with a double stairway in the lobby that is very impressive. We went there to see The George Jones show. The huge theater was packed with people. The very bad thing about this theater is the parking. If you don't get to the parking lot by 7 p.m. for an 8 p.m. show you cannot get a space in their lot. We had to park 1/4 mile away and then walk uphill all the way back to the theater. We thought that we would miss the beginning of the show because we had to walk so far. The theater should have a shuttle bus to bring the people from the long distance parking back to the theater. I felt sorry for the handicapped people that most likely couldn't get handicap parking who had to walk so far. Very poor system on the part of the Manson Theater.

“George Jones at The Mansion in Branson Missouri”
Reviewed October 17, 2012

We came to Branson on October 12, 2012. Our first show was George Jones. We paid $56.00 (4 of us) each to see the show. He was always one of my favorite singers. I agree with the review of July 27--
It was absolutely the worst country music show we have ever seen. You could not understand a word he said. What is wrong with his manager and the other people in the show? Is this the way they want people to remember him? He is coming back to Branson in November--don't waste your money. Go to Clay Cooper or Mike Walker--less money and excellent shows.

“Poor Customer Service”
Reviewed October 17, 2012

Are seats were to the left of the stage. They had big red curtains that were not pulled back all the way and blocking the view of the big screen. When they showed things on the big screen, I could not see it at all. When we asked them to moved them back the lady told us they couldn't because there was equipment behind it. We paid nearly sixty dollars for the tickets and this was so disappointing and I doubt I would go back to a show there.

“Bill Cosby”
Reviewed October 15, 2012

He's still the best! Bill Cosby had a "one night stand" at the Mansion American Theater, in Branson Saturday night. To a completely sold out crowd he came out onto the stage in Sweatpants and shirt, sat down, in his chair, with only a small table that held water and a box of Klenex and started to tell us stories of his life. After what seemed to be only a few minutes he told us to be happy and love one another and left the stage. That "few minutes" was actually almost 2 hours of laughing, loving, and watching his expressive face lead us on a glorious ride of antics, surprises, and outrageously funny happenings. If you ever have a chance GO SEE HIM!

We saw the Gattlin Brothers here and really enjoyed the show....good music with added comedy & commentary. Very good venue for this type of show. Highly recommended
