Our waitress was very prompt when taking orders, but it did seem to take awhile for the food to come out from the kitchen. We both ordered sandwiches (one club and one grilled chicken) and we probably waited 15+ minutes. The place was pretty packed, so it might have been backed up given the many orders at the time. We also ordered pie - the chocolate cream was amazing! We ordered an egg custard and the waitress apologized profusely that it did not 'set up' well, but she brought a piece anyway and did not charge us for it. Pretty happy we did not have to pay for it, as it was tasteless and runny - but as I said, it was free, so how does one complain about that really?!

A lady does come around and take photos of your table, trying to hock the photo in a keychain, etc. But they are not pushy and just say 'thanks' when you give it back and don't buy it. But it is a tad annoying none-the-less.

Our sandwiches were between $7-9 each, around $2 for tea, and pie per slice was $3.25 - and worth every penny! Other food ranged up to $15-16 for a meal (could have been higher, but that was what I noticed).

Sat at the "round" table and boy was that fun to watch the girls trying to figure out what was going on. The food was very tasty and the service was great! The décor is really cool also.

Hostess was snotty, did not care if we ate there or not. Food was poor, service was slow. The next night we went across the street to Red Lobster - WOW, food was great, service was great, huge difference!

Good food at reasonable prices. Make sure you ask for the ROUND TABLE! We were seated at the round table and were VERY surprised. . . you will be, too. Our group of 4 ate there for supper. The Chicken Fried Steak and mashed potatoes were very good. I would recommend McFarlain's and I would eat there again. The complementary cornbread and butter was also very good.
