This was a great local place. We ate breakfast. The kids thought they were I heaven when their huge pancakes arrived. Friendly with a great laid back atmosphere!

Take all the glitter from the strip along Highway 76, remove all the fast food places and get rid of all the Las Vegas clutter and you've got the setting for Billy Gail's cafe. It's Ozark quaint, situated at the back side of a gravel parking lot literally within inches of the fast-paced roadway along highway 265 in Branson West. Watching people park is like front row seats at an auto rodeo. Inside, however, are the best breakfasts you'll find anywhere in this region. Huge omelets chucked full of massive chunks of ham or bacon, veggies, and oozing with melted cheese. Their breakfast burrito tags both ends of a 10" oval plate. It's always crowded but seems people prefer the warmth of the interior tables to the refreshingly coolness of the screened in porch (I was there in late Sept.).

Great home cooking, fantastic staff (fast and friendly) along with a funky gift shop offer the usual country craftwork you see most anywhere.

Clearly one of the best places to eat in Branson, and without comparison, the best for breakfast.

Not sure I want to tell too many people about this place. They stay so busy and they are one of our favorite places to have breakfast when in Branson. t's a small restaurant in an old gas station building with the old gas pumps outside. We were there with family/friends earlier this month. The food is always amazing and always so much food you can never finish everything on your plate. The service is always good and even the customers are always so friendly. We never miss eating here when in town.

This cafe is open only for breakfast/lunch. It was the best food we have had in a while. The portions are huge: a 14 inch pancake that hung off the plate, 4 egg omelets, hashbrowns that filled the plate. Great food, excellent service, and a fun atmosphere. You won't be hungry when you leave.

This is our second trip this week and hubby is planning a return tomorrow for grits.
Prices are good ( cash or checks only) and food is delicious. The wait staff is friendly and efficient.
