Description: 1950's themed restaurant. We are one of Branson Missouri's most popular places to eat and listen to live music. Rock out to some of Branson's best entertainers, right at your table! Serving up our Famous Steakburgers and Fries. Get it with a hand dipped chocolate, strawberry or vanilla shake! We have a vintage style soda fountain for shakes, malts, ice cream, apple pie, hot fudge turtle, vanilla & cherry cokes and so much more. 1953 Henry J Classic Taxi Cab out front for selfies and other pics. Great Food! Great Entertainment! We host one of Branson's highest rated dinner shows... A Tribute to George Strait Dinner Show with Gordy & Debbie Wensel. They've won too many awards to list. It's a must see show.

We got into town late and this was one of the few places still open. Turned out to be a lucky break for us. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. Their specialty was a Steak Burger and it was excellent. It has an old fashioned soda fountain bar and all of the ice cream sundaes and sodas that one would expect.
Great place, good food, excellent service, wonderful atmosphere and highly recommended!!

We usually eat at the Uptown Cafe at least once each time we're in Branson! The good is soooooo good and the prices aren't bad either! The desserts are fantastic! Each time we've been there, there has been live music entertainment - which makes dining even more fun! The service is very good. All I can say is - Try it - I think you'll like it!!

We tried this place because of the 20 percent off with guest card and thought the classic style diner would be cool. I wish we'd have gone to Ruby Tuesdays instead. The food was ok but overpriced without free refills on soft drinks either that or the server didn't want to do it. Maybe it's because we're too young but the live entertainment wasn't very good with a grandma aged woman singing 50's & country songs. She walked around singing to customers up close & then pushed her tips & cd's for $10. $10?! For a 60 year old woman singing karaoke style cover tunes? If the theme of the restaurant is a 50's or 60's style diner then they need younger singers or just have a jukebox. The food was good but for the price (even with the 20 percent) Ruby has better burgers & you get FREE refills on soda. Will not return to JBG's.

Had the breakfast buffet here and it was good. Even though there is not a large selection of food, there is enough to fill you up, especially for the price.

My wife and I ate here twice in two days. The food is great and they have live music entertainment. The chilli cheese fries were the best I've ever had. I highly recommend this place.
