“Nice Atmosphere; Food is So-So”
Reviewed May 2, 2013

The BBQ Beef and Pork and Sweet Potato was really good, but the lettuce in the salad bar was wilted, skin on fried chicken was "rubber", and the baked beans where hot (after I'd specifically asked the waitress about it and she said it wasn't). The atmosphere was christian (Yeah!) and had nostalgic signs. It's a very small restaurant.

“Cute little place”
Reviewed May 2, 2013

We stopped here on the morning that we were flying out and decided to have breakfast before walking over to Branson Landing. The staff were great, prices were good and the breakfast was above average for such a litttle cafe. Might want to share the drinks though, they come in HUGE mason jars!

“For value, selection and taste, you won't beat it in Branson.”
Reviewed April 30, 2013

After doing all the steak houses and fancy restaurants, come home to this little gem right on Main Street in the old section, two blocks from Branson Landing. Good food done right at a price that will allow you to take in another show. Kid friendly and managed by Christian folks. I had the broiled pork chop (thoroughly cooked but still juicy) and my wife had chicken & dumplings that had a lot of large chicken chunks. Courteous waiters and the auro of an old timey café where the blue plate special was their mainstay. Seriously, the food may be very good +, the atmosphere is nice, the value is very good and the menu is more home-style...so when you add them all up, (and compare it to the more expensive places) the whole package is "top shelf".

“a must stop!”
Reviewed April 27, 2013

This is truly the one place in Branson we would stop in again in we had the chance! Between the six of us we had the salad bar, soup, chicken fried steak, , catfish, and cheeseburger. They were all delicious, and the salad bar was really fresh! The server and waitress were extremely polite and the waitress was always there to tip the coffee off even though the restaurant was packed. We all finished with blueberry cobbler and ice cream, which was even yummier than the meal~ fabulous down home dining!
