“Manager very rude”
Reviewed September 1, 2012

We have just gone to Branson and ate at the Baldknobbers Resturant. We ate there for lunch and every one there was very nice and the food was good and the price was good.
We also went there for dinner since we were staying at the Baldknobbers Inn.
The night experience was not so pleasant. There was another couple with us and our server for that time did not ask us if we wanted seperate checks. When we went to the cashier we let him know that we wanted to pay seperate since it was not totaled up yet. He was very hateful and rude stating well you should have asked for sperate checks. He went ahead and did it but he acted like he did not know how to do that. Next morning we let them know at the resturant that he was very rude and come to fnd out he was the manager. Hate to see how he treats his employees then.

The rest of the staff was very nice.

“Small, limited yet good”
Reviewed August 13, 2012

The food was average, the buffet is limited. As with most buffets we experienced in the area, small and limited. If you are just looking for a decent lunch this is great for the price you pay. Very inexpensive. Don't go here expecting a huge variety - 2 soups, small salad bar, 2 meats/entrees and a few vegetables. The food was good yet prepared with a great deal of salt. The chicken rice soup was like eating a salt block. When the server informed the cook there was skepticism expressed until he tasted it and did not appreciate the SALT either. I probably would go here for breakfast or lunch but not dinner. This is a good restaurant for a budget. This is NOT a large buffet; there is NOT a huge variety of entrees. The food is prepared well, the place is clean, and the service is great. Another review (jcbuzzman) indicates a huge selection - this is not the case. It is approximately 6 ft long with a basic salad bar, two to three entrees and a few vegetables with bread. A fish, a meatloaf and chicken - example.

“Nice buffet”
Reviewed August 9, 2012

We enjoyed the Baldknobbers buffet. They had a huge selection of southern favorites. The service was very nice and everyone was very friendly. We had dinner and we would gladly return.

“You get what you pay for...”
Reviewed August 4, 2012

We were there for lunch mid-week. My husband had the $5 lunch special (chicken-fried steak) that was tasty but had a small-ish portion. I had the lunch buffet and had mixed feelings about the food. The catfish was VERY dry and I could barely poke it with a fork. The meatloaf was very greasy but had good flavor. The fried okra was yummy (I hadn't had okra in a very long time). The only fresh fruit option was watermelon slices, which was fine but I was looking for more.
