“Wont go back!”
Reviewed November 14, 2011

We stayed here Nov. 10-13, 2011, had a Studio Suite, and will not return. On the good side, the staff was vary nice and helpful when we arrived, and throughout our stay. no spiders were seen as ive seen in other posts. But, on the bad side, Our room was on the 3rd floor of our building, and we had to go up 3 flights of stairs to get there. My husband is handicapped, and we were led to believe there were elevators. So, leaving and returning to the room was very hard for him. The walls are paper thin, and you can definitely hear everything going on in the adjacent suites. We were woke up every morning around 6ish by the children in the next suite screaming and playing. Our room was clean, but very uncomfortable to relax in. there werent any comfortable chairs to sit in, the only chairs were at the table. The lighting around the complex is not appealing at night when it lights up your room, so if you like a dark, quiet room, this is definitely not the place to be.

Room Tip: Go somewhere else!!

Reading the other reviews I have to agree, there were a lot of spiders living in the outdoor hallways. However, as long as they were outside, I had no issues with their living arrangements. I booked a two bedroom unit which had two separate entrances. As we entered, I was extremely disappointed, bed, couch, kitchenette all in one room. Assumed the 2nd room would be a duplicate. After opening the other entrance, beyond happy to find a large unit with a full sized kitchen, dining table, living room area, separate bedroom down a hallway and large outdoor balconey. While the decor might have been a little dated, it was well done the first time and was still very nice. 3 large flat screen TVs (unfortunately unable to get the Packer game . .), all the kitchen ammenities needed, nice bathrooms--however despite extensive hotel stays by both my husband and myself, neither of us could figure out how to use the shower in one of the bathrooms. Large whirlpool tub with a shower but despite pulling, pushing and turning every knob in site, no shower but we were able to shower in the 2nd bathroom. It was quiet on the fourth floor, although the resort seemed to have many vacancies while we were there. The grounds were beautifully maintained, large pond, fall decor, walking path, lots of seating. All desk staff were pleasant although they are very strict about the 4 p.m. check in. Arrived at 3:30 and not given keys until exactly 4 p.m. Several other guests were in the lobby also waiting for keys. At 4 p.m. they make an announcement you can pick up your keys. Overall though, we were extremely happy with our stay and accomodations, Would return and highly recommend.

We spent 4 nights here in early October. We stayed in a one bedroom condo. The unit was spacious and had a balcony overlooking the lake. The bed was very comfortable and the unit had 2 large flat screen TV's. It was on the third floor and was very quiet. There is not an elevator so be aware. The staff is very curtious and helpful. There is daily activities and concierge service. You can get show tickets right there. This is a Diamond Resort timeshare property and they are updating the rooms. We saw carpet being installed in the building next to ours. Our unit was a long walk from the pool and play area. Nice if you don't have children. not so nice if you do. Wi-Fi is available for a fee.

Yes it's a Vacaion / Time Share Resort. We stayed there for a free incentive after sitting through the sales pitch. The room we were given was very small (as expected). Location was nice. Outside the "downtown strip" area of Branson. Resort is hard to find if you don't have a GPS or a good local map. Upon check out there was no employees to be found anywhere in the main building. If you don't want to get "roped into" their company, STAY ELSEWHERE.

Room Tip: Ask for a bigger room.

In the future, please don't hesitate to contact us on your way to the resort for directions as our front desk staff is always willing to assist. I'm not sure what day you checked in, but we apologize if we were under-staffed upon your arrival. While our property is traditionally occupied by Owners and Members, we welcome guests and apologize if you received any form of pressure during your stay. We had a 4th-floor two bedroom in Bldg 24 for 2 of us so it was way more than we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The concierge was a little dissappointing as they only have info on the many shows on the strip. No info for other surrounding area activities (We wanted to do some kayaking and hiking in the area). Some had their own local knowledge but not the usual maps/flyers we were used to. The on-site activities were typical. No issues with the 3 pools though only 1 of 2 outdoor hot tubs were working. Grounds were clean.

Accomodations in the room were average. The place was clean. Beds/linens were nice. LR furniture was well used. We enjoyed the screened balcony with a view of the hills. This place is located near a trailer park, which is nicer than most, but does mess the view up a little. But this is not Hawaii or some other exotic place, its Branson. There are two groups of building to stay at. Bldg 23-25 are near the pool/office and have pool/hills viewing. Bldg 25 has the latest /greatest amenities and you should request a 3rd or 4th floor unit to get a view above the trees/trailers. Bldgs 1-16 are located down the lane on Lake Taneycomo but is a about a half mile from the pool. So it your preference - lake view or close to the pool. There is another pool further down the lane by the marina/dock. This resort sits with privately owned condos in the area and security did say they are working to keep the non-resort people out of the resort pool/marina areas. Location is great, the strip is within 5 minutes and its close to Table Rock Dam area. Spiders...My my yard has them too...they did clean them off the building during our stay. Lighting along the outside walkways did shine into the front bedroom and and kitchen of our place. Fortunately we had a second BR that didn't have that issue otherwise we would be draping sheets/blankets over the curtains to block more light. Overall we expect a nice clean room, everything to work in the room and that's what we got, we enjoyed our stay and would go again.

Room Tip: Ask about the bldg/room location. Pool area or lake-view area. Latest/greatest amenity rooms are no...

The clerks were great and the coupon book saved us money. The facilities are located ideally close to the expressway coming/going in/out of town plus reasonably close to town. Now for the bad news. The walls have no sound-proofing and they leave the eave lights on all night without providing light-darkening shades so if you are a light sleeper or if light or noise bothers you bring your earplugs and your night mask. Otherwise it is a nice looking place to stay.

Room Tip: Just ask a lot of questions. Light darkening shades, noise proofing, any major events happening when...
