My husband & I stayed 2 nights here and had a wonderful time. The owners were very nice. The beds are a little hard though. But it was still a nice stay for the money. They are very close to Silver Dollar City and the town of Branson. Very quiet stay. Tried to stay for 2 more days but Booking.com wanted to charge us for cancelling with another hotel even though it says 24 canceling. Thanks to Joe and Carol.

Room Tip: The rooms are at a decent price.

There were 5 in our party 3 adults and 2 kids ( 8 an 10 ) had a room with a king and a double. We had plenty of room for sleeping, the room was clean and the people that own the Inn were great. It is like a nice cross between a bed and breakfast and a hotel. Joe the owner makes hot cocoa for the kids in the morning and will do a magic trick for them. It is a place we will stay at again when we go to Branson..

... and I've stayed in many, in 105 countries. The rooms are kept so clean that you really don't have to worry about the "5-second rule" if your kids drop food! And contrary to one other reviewer, the beds are VERY comfortable - yes, the mattresses are firm, and for me, that's fantastic! If I sleep on a soft mattress, I wake up half-crippled the next morning. Rooms are spacious, ours contains two double beds, a fairly large flat-screen tv, a coffee-maker, a/c, ceiling fan, and a tastefully decorated and well-lit sink and counter. Wifi is included in the room charges, and it's fast. Coffee and donuts are provided early in the morning. The owners, Joe and Carol, are a joy to chat with - never intrusive, always a font of local knowledge. You WILL need a car if you stay here, though. (And there is a small swimming pool to keep kids happy on those hot days.)

This is our home away from home when we go to Branson. We stumbled across this wonderful, quiet, peaceful place years ago. We saw the sign on the marquee which said, “Non-smoking property.” We went in and met the owners/operators and were so impressed by their hospitality. We go to Branson several times a year and always stay at the Old Southern Inn. This is where our large church group stays every year and everyone loves it. It is conveniently located, just 5 minutes from Silver Dollar City, 5 minutes from Branson and 10 minutes to the Showboat Branson Bell.

The owners of this hotel are the best! They want you to have an excellent stay and they provide that type of service. For a small older inn, the rooms are adequate and exceptionally clean. The owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome and they offer great suggestions on places to eat and things to do. You must try Billy Gail's Cafe!!

This is a small family owned hotel. The room was nicely done and very clean. The owners are very nice. The blinds on the windows and double mirrors made it not feel like a hotel room. When we aren't camping, we will definitely stay here

Got room expecting at least a refrigerator for almost $70 a night (common in most motels now). Beds were very hard and might as well not even had a pillow. We were not told there were extra blankets in the dresser drawers. My son chose to sleep in the bath tub instead of the bed said it was more comfortable. Only positive thing I have to say is it is a non-smoking property so the room did not stink
