Awesome because its free but of course we bought some wine! I'm not a wine drinker at all and left with 3 bottles! And my daughter LOVED the grape juice!

If you're used to going to a winery where you walk up to a counter and have a leisurely conversation with the winery employees about the wine and the vineyard, this might confuse you. As this is a winery in the middle of a tourist town, things have to move a bit faster. Luckily you can have a tour and tasting for free, even if in an assembly-line style.

You start with a video about the winery, which is actually in Hermann, Mo. Pretty informative. After that, you get to watch champagne, er um...sparkling wine, get bottled, as Stone Hill does the bottling at the Branson facility. Then it's on to the tasting. You gather in a small room with no windows and everyone squeezes in around a circular counter. It feels like some secret society meeting, but it's just wine tasting, poured in glasses assembly-line style. They let you taste a good number of the wines and give you a pen and paper to take notes. Personally, I enjoyed all of them.

After this, back to the gift shop to buy some wine and wine accessories! It was cramped in here and a little overwhelming, but I remembered another reviewer state you can buy the wine cheaper at Walmart, which I did. Just note that Walmart only carries a handful of bottles.

I will say like everyone else that Corky is a hoot of a tour guide. Very entertaining and animated.

We were in Branson celebrating our anniversary. They had a special deal on glasses and Mike did a awesome job etching them. Courtney was out of this world and funny. We will be back again.
