The butterfly garden is a home school mothers dream. The butterflies were very Active. They could be observed up close. The nursery contained hundreds of cocoons. There were some beautiful nectar eating birds as well. The science center contained several species of reptiles. The tanks were spotless and the hostess was very engaging. And don't forget the mirror maze! That place was crazy. It was fun for adults as well as children.

We visited Branson for a day over spring break. Took our 10 y/o son, 2 and 4 y/o nephews, and grandma and grandpa came along. This was a great activity for the range of ages, and we spent 2 hours as a large group with the little ones, then My partner and I returned with our 10 y/o son later in the day to spend more time.
The rainforest/science room has a nice collection of lizards, turtles, fish, etc and there are posted times when one lizard is brought out to 'pet'. The bungee banyan tree is a small play area that the little boys really enjoyed playing in, and getting some of their wiggles out. The conservatory is spectacular; beautiful butterflies of a multitude of colors and patterns, the plants and a waterfall provide a pretty setting, and even a few colorful singing birds reside here. It is truly a treat for the senses, even a little 'overwhelming' at first since the butterflies surround and even land on you at times.
We returned later with just the 10 y/o and he spent nearly an hour playing in the mirror maze. We also spent more time in the conservatory. The gift shop is nice. We skipped the movies b/c 3D has a way of making my partner dizzy/motion sick, so I cannot speak to this.

The "groupon" provided a great discount for the price, but after going to a few other Branson attractions I noticed the regular price is set very reasonably for this attraction. No restaurant, but vending machines. Very clean and staff are friendly.

Although it is really neat to see all the different types of butterflies it is a bit on the pricey side. With a buy one get one 1/2 off coupon we spent $83 for 4 adults and a 12 year old. It took about 1 1/2 to 2 hours to look at everything.

I loved the 3D movie and the walk through butterfly garden. We spent hours just watching them and trying to find all of the different kinds of butterflies and moths. You can also watch them hatch.
