I went there the for few times. Kids loved it, very relaxing and safe. You can get an annual pass for 30$ which is cheaper than any show or theme park tickets. Planning to come again

“1st time at Moonshine Beach, Branson!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 25, 2012

I went to college many years ago at Pt Lookout and have been in Branson every year (25 yrs) since but with low funds, we hardly ever explore Branson except for the College of the Ozarks, Branson Landing, Branson Meadows and SDC, etc but thanks for facebook and reserveBranson, I learned of a new place on Table Rock Lake/Dam. "Moonshine Beach" was perfect for this country girl. yes it wasn't a real ocean beach but we loved it anyway. didn't like the cost of the umbrella rental $20 but we didn't need one this time as spent all 2 hrs in the water floating with our floaty noodles. the water was cold at first but got warm the longer we stayed in, found seashells and even saw a 3 inch fish. didn't like the bigger rocks on lake bed as those hurt but the pebble ones were fine. we only stayed in area where we could touch the bottom. it has real bathrooms, pavillion, kid play area, picnic area, food items for sale &, beach rentals. no alcohol!! some people brought own coolers, canopies, umbrellas, floating devices!! can leave if need to as long as have your receipt!! yes plan to go back as many times as we can now!! for $5 per car load - why not!! Yes I would recommend this place to friends and family!!

Good cheap fun. Five dollars to get in and twenty for the beach umbrella. The kids loved the sand but my feet hated the gravel at the waters edge. Table rock is a beautiful lake

We love spending time at the lake and were looking forward to Moonshine Beach as we were told it was the only sand beach on Tablerock Lake. They charge $5 per carload to access the beach, so its pretty cheap entertainment for the day. They do have picnic shelters, nice restrooms, beach rentals, food, etc, so that was nice, but the beach is not sand! It's primarily pebbles and rocks! Ouch, my feet still hurt. Pack your water shoes as it was very painful trying to get in and out of the water. We did enjoy our day, but didn't return. We found another swimming area near the Dewey Short Visitors area and enjoyed it much more. It wasn't as crowded and it had more shade.

“Cheap fun!!!”

We loved moonshine beach. Halfway down to the water was sand then it turned into pea gravelwhich went out into the water as far as you can touch. It was very nice and clean. Only cost 5.00 per car load which was awesome. They rent tubes , and umbrellas and have bathrooms and showers too. They also put tape on a receipt with the date and told us to put it in our windshield and we could come and go all day between open hours (9am. To 9the pm.). The only thing that sucked was we went the July 3rd and went back on the afternoon of the 4th and it was so completely packed that they had the entrance blocked because there was nowhere to park. But we are definately going back next year.
