Loved this show a few years ago, so definitely wanted to see it again on this vacation. BAD decision! The show has moved into what looked like an old roller skating rink. They had about 9 folding tables with very uncomfortable chairs for seating. They also served dinner before the show. Didn't try it. The show consisted of a middle aged woman, her husband on bass guitar, another guitar player, one girl in a poodle skirt, and the only redeeming one of the bunch, a Jerry Lee piano player that was awesome! Very dissapointed with the whole experience.

We were very disappointed in the dinner and noticed several others in the room must have thought the same by seeing the leftover food, including dessert, on the plates. On the positive side, we enjoyed the show very much. The band and singers were wonderful and the show had a lot of energy. The comedian/singer, Jason Chase, was fantastic, one of the best comedian/singers we've seen! At this point, I would recommend the show, but if they could improve their food, they might have a winning combination!

These were hard working singers and dancers. They kept the show moving. They were great. Put this on your to see list...if you want a great 50's show. And this time of year..it is 1/2 50's and 1/2 Christmas. Thank our good Lord, Branson is somewhere you can go and actually hear the words Christmas. We had to search around to find this..but we had read reviews about it earlier. Due to our hard economic conditions, some theaters in Branson have changed hands..and they have juggled some shows and times. We went to another show that was too loud..but this was great.

This show was on our "Must See Again" list when we returned to Branson after 8 years and we made certain it was in our ticket packet. Well, the experience this time (June 2009) was much less enjoyable than before. First, the show has moved to a new venue that was VERY hard to find, almost hidden in a new shopping mall well off the three main show streets. OK, we are not young but I wasted well over 3 hours searching for it.
The show itself was OK but not as good as before with two guys and four girls who sang and danced well but it just seemed to lack pop. The lighting was adequate but nothing compared to other shows. I could only see one follow spot used and that was amateurishly handled.
The theatre lobby had one small bench to wait on and some rocks (yes, rocks!) that could be used for sitting I suppose. The rest rooms were VERY far away and this was hard on my wife for whom walking is painful. She had to hobble way too far I think.
Would we go back? No, not while it is in that theater.

The theater and show can be a little cheesy to a young person and/or a person who has seen Broadway shows, but the show is well put together. It is more geared towards the older crowd, but the energy and sentiment are great. Even though I wasn't born yet in the 50's, I still enjoyed it.
