“We loved our stay at La Quinta. The staff are so friendly and helpful.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 14, 2011

We stayed at La Quinta the week of July the 4th, 2011. We absolutely loved it. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We were traveling with our small pet and worried about distrubing the other guest but everyone was so nice and treated us great. The breakfast each morning was wonderful. We really enjoyed our trip to Branson and when we return to the area we will stay at the La Quinta.

Arrived without notice and got the last room but it was perfectly acceptable; good size, good facilities - including coffee in the room which we don't always get at home in England.

As mentioned by earlier posters the pool and breakfast were very good and, for us, the location was spot on as we were going to the Dixie Stampede and we were able to walk there.

Would be happy to stay here again.

It appeared that they had converted a mop closet into a room. The front desk clerk was nice enough to show me the room before she rented it to me. It was the last room that they had and I was tired from traveling so there was no options for me and I took it, even after looking at it !!! Small does not really describe how tight these quarters were. Small would have been alright if the bed had not been so worn out. It felt as though I was sleeping on a sheet of plywood with a layer of cotton balls on top! I complained at checkout and let the manager know that I write reviews on me travel experiences and he said he would give me an extra 20 bucks off the charged rate.
At the end of the day, I could have rented any room in Branson at any price and not done any worse than I got at this Branson, Mo. La Quinta....

This was the second time we stayed here, and we'd definately stay here again. The rooms are clean and typically sized, the staff is friendly and helpful, the free breakfast is really good, and it's nice having an indoor pool. And we really like the fact that you can get a mini fridge in the room if you requst it in advace.

I will agree with other reviews that I've read that the fitted sheets do pull off the bed corners pretty easily, and since it is on the Branson "Strip", it can take a little patience to enter and exit the parking lot at times. And I personally would have made the breakfast area a little bigger. (It's usually fine, but if you happen to go to breakfast at the same time as a large tour group, it can be difficult to move around and next to impossible to find a place to sit!)

I will say that while we love this hotel, but it might not be great for everyone. We travel with our dog, and this hotel is definately pet friendly, which is wonderful for us. However, if someone is not traveling with a pet, and/or dogs and their noises are bothersome, this probably is not the best choice of lodging. There are dogs EVERYWHERE! You can't hear next door too much, but you can definately hear the room above you. And if there's a dog barking a lot, you'll probably hear that too. But, bonuses for people traveling with their dogs: I have yet to see the management enforce the "under 50 lbs." rule (there were 2 Great Danes staying 3 doors down from us), and I think having hard floors in a hotel that allows pets is a great idea! They definately stay cleaner! Plus they have nice little grassy areas for your pets to relieve themselves, and they provide poo bags and trash cans in those areas (so please use them!).

This definately isn't the Ritz, but it's not priced that way either. I think it's a great value for the price, and it fits our needs perfectly!

This hotel is wonderful. Had an accessible room which had a large bathroom & roll in shower. Also had a higher commode. One of the phones did not work but maintenance fixed it right away, (needed a new cord) The breakfast buffet was wonderful including sausage, gravy & biscuits in addition to the other items. Luv the home made waffles. Very good cofffee. Has an indoor pool & hot tub which were both very nice & clean. No problem accessing the computer in the lobby, Coffee available 24 hrs/day. The only thing I thought the room needed more clothes hooks on the back of bathroom door. Also at the desk in the room was an office chair on wheels which isn't good for a disabled person. I was afraid it would go out from under me since it is on wheels. Very clean, beds very comfortable & room smelled nice.

This hotel turned out to be a good choice for us with medium-sized dogs (Australian Shepherds).

The rooms were clean, but the fitted bottom sheets didn't fit the beds (2 queens) properly so they kept coming up exposing the mattress - not good! This would seem to be a minor issue, easily remedied with new sheets, or changing out the old sheets more often. The hotel encourages visitors to have their beds made without changing sheets to help save the planet or something, but if we were to stay there again, I think we'd have the sheets changed every day to avoid this problem.

The continental breakfast included with the room price had a nice variety of items and helped us save money by not having to buy breakfast everyday.

The dog area was small, but adequate for what needs to be done there. There isn't a dog park for romping, but there is a big long street for walking your dog so they (and you) can get some exercise after sitting through all those shows!

If we didn't have our dogs with us, we definitely would have stayed somewhere else.

3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 19, 2011

My Son and his friend and I stayed April 1st and 2nd here. Check in went well, with no problems. We needed a roll away and it was at our room before we got there. The location is on the main strip of Branson so there is a lot of hustle and bustle with people and cars. We were expecting that so it was no big deal. Our room was very average but clean. Everything seemed to be working properly. The big draw back was the noise of people from above and our neighboring wall. These walls were VERY thin and you could hear most everything. The first night there was quite a bit of commotion outside our room. A high school choir was staying there and were quite noisy for an hour or so between 11:00 pm and midnight. I almost called the from desk but the loudness from the high school kids subsided. There is an indoor pool which is very nice and a continential breakfast in the morning which was good. The staff was outstanding, friendly and informative. We booked through a discount web site and our room was under 50.00 normally it is around 85, I believe. I would ahve no problem coming back if I was in town looking for a cheaper place to stay. One just has to remember it's not the Ritz Carleton but nor is the price.
