We've stayed at this resort twice, 2 yrs in a row for the Trout fishing. Cabins are clean but the furnishing are older, but that's ok with us...we like the quaint feel it gives. The playground is fun and our kids who are ten, enjoy it each time. The fishing dock is clean, large and has a heated fish-cleaning room, which is very nice. They have a small office that sells fishing licenses, toiletries, etc. Now that we have an RV, we will probably take advantage of the rv sites, which are mostly gravel pads but seem level. We will definitely use this place again!

We live 180 miles south of Branson, so we get up there every year -- some times 2 or 3 times. We have stayed in a variety of places from $10/night motels to luxury resorts on a Time Share's pitch nickel. We often travel with a small dog (Havanese) and often, it is hard to find a place that will accept dogs that do not charge an arm and a puppy for the privilege.

On our last trip before this one, we visited several resorts and campgrounds along the river. (Lake Taneycomo). Having recently sold our camper, the campground became of a less importance. We liked Cooper Creek Resort and Campground the best and decided to give them a try on a four day Anniversary trip this month. (August 2013). We are so glad we did.

The base rate for a cabin and two people is only $77 a night! Add $7 per day per dog up to the allowed two, plus the atrocious 12% tax, and you are still under $100/night with one dog and two people for a cabin, with nicely appointed kitchen, a queen bed and a single bed, nice bathroom and shower, and a stone's throw from the water. Being campers, we can also vouch for the camp ground facilities. They have several sites that border the water, and while most are on an up-hill grade, the pull throughs are mostly level. The parking pads are gravel while the roads are paved. The bath and shower facilities are well maintained. If we still had a camper, we would camp here. The on-site camp store and office is friendly staffed and has a good item selection but no groceries -- which, according to the clerk, is coming soon. There are fire wood bundles for sale.

The location is very convenient off of Fall Creek Rd. about 1/2 mile from the Yellow Route toward the east side of the 76 strip. Using the Yellow Route, you have quick access to all attractions, or take Fall Creek Rd up to 76, turn right, and you are into Old Town Downtown in just minutes. Turn left on Fall Creek Rd. after leaving the resort and you are to the dam in no time, and the famous Fall Creek Steak House at the end of Fall Creek Rd.

This is a full service marina also with boat and motor rental, and guide service available. The two floating dock area have nice cleaning stations, and comfortable seating so you can relax by the cold waters and watch nature in all of it's glory. There are two swimming pools on site. Both were crystal clear.

The cabins are very comfortable and clean. While the kitchen is well stocked, you will need to bring your own paper towels and sugar. Salt and pepper and coffee filters are the only consumables provided. While we were there, neither the camp ground nor the cabins were full. About 80% occupancy, I would guess. The children of the guests were well behaved, as were all the dogs present. This is a great family place for a day or a week stay or longer. We will be back!

We had a small family reunion and met at Cooper Creek. It was a 600 mile drive from Indiana, but So worth it. Cabin was actually a 2bedroom (4 queen bed total) with 2 full baths. Completely furnished with linens, dishes and even soap! The whole campground was clean and inviting. Would recommend to all fishermen and families. Great marina. Fritz is the best owner/operator! Enjoy your camping experience at Cooper Creek, The only downside to Branson is the terrible traffic! Branson needs more traffic lights and control.

I've really enjoyed my camp here. It's minutes away from the hustle in Branson, but it feels like your way out in the country. There is so much tree cover, it makes beating the heat during the hot summer months easy. Taneycomo is just a minutes walk away, and it's quite beautiful here.

Lots of fishing from the docks, you see a boat, or canoe pass by often. There's even a small waterfall that creates a peaceful atmosphere when your near Taneycomo. There's several water view sites right near it all.

The wi fi is fantastic here, with easy connection, and fast speeds. The cable tv setup is a breeze with lots of channels. The pool is clean, and the families with kids are having a great big old splash. The office is neat, a/c cool, and staff very helpful.

We navigated around Coopers easy in. 30ft. Fifth wheel. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a place to camp in this area.

Stayed here with my wife and our 5 year old daughter in our fifth wheel. Loved the location, easy access to the strip, but far enough out to be very quiet and secluded. Lots of shade, the pool was very clean and Fritz was very helpful at the front desk/store. Can't wait to come back!

This is a comfortable cabin-like area with furnishings that are comfortable and not too intimidating. Not too fancy to make one uncomfortable to sit down and relax. This is one of the best if not the best place for hospitality in Branson. If you want to fish Taneycomo, this is the place to stay. Walking distance to the lake and your neighbors are like friends, telling fish stories. We will definitely be going back.

Room Tip: If you have an RV, it is a great place to park it.

We have been staying in the cabins almost every year for the last 29 years and we would not think of staying anywhere else in Branson...our children would not let us. It works out great for families or friends, each having their own cabin and privacy yet being right next door. While we did not fish this time the fishing off the dock has always been some of the best fishing on Tannycomo. It is just minutes from hwy 76 There are many nicer places in the area with greater amenities but for that vacation feeling you will not find a better place,
