Since 9/11, most hydroelectric dams in the US have been closed to visitors. We discovered while visiting Table Rock Dam that limited tours are again available. Within security restrictions, this is a very informative tour but so many areas of the dam are off limits that I couldn't give an excellent rating, That said, the tour is quite enjoyable and instructive. Our guide was a fountain of information and had a great deal of knowledge from when the dam was built. If you like engineering marvels, don't miss this tour.
