“Unexpected fun”

We found out about this opportunity from a local. At first my kids didn't seem interested, but they ended up loving it! The guide was knowledgeable and very personable!

“This tour is full of "OMG" and "WOWs"”
Reviewed November 27, 2011

This tour definitely and highlight of my trip to Branson, MO. The guide was so personable and knowledgeable..able to answer all my questions.Even after doing this for so long, I could tell he was still genuinely in awe himself of the engineering that went into this facility so long ago. Well worth the fee..highly recommend.

“This was awesome”
Reviewed November 22, 2011

If you or your children like to learn at all, this is a no-miss. The tour was awesome. The sheer massiveness of modern engineering feats like dams are amazing to me. To get an inside look and understanding of the construction is worth the fee. The tour guide was very friendly, answered all our questions well and wasn't rushed. This was a great addition to our Branson trip. In case you need to know, there are quite a few stairs.

“Don't miss the tour inside Table Rock Dam.”
Reviewed October 19, 2011

We really enjoyed learning about the history of the area and the reason for the construction of Table Rock Dam. This actually takes you on a guided tour inside the dam so that you can see the massiveness and complexity of the facilities, and learn the history. The tour guide is funny and an excellent source of information.

“Very worthwhile, very well presented”
Reviewed October 11, 2011

My wife and I found this tour to be very much worth our time (a little over an hour). Before purchasing the tour, the guide thoroughly explained how much walking there was on the tour, how many stair steps (about 150, but not so many at a single time so as to be exhausting), etc. (BTW, a photo ID is required as part of 9/11 inspired security, also cameras and cell phones are not allowed on the tour). We were also pleased that even though we were the only 2 people signed up for this particular tour time, they never hesitated about going ahead with the tour. The guide was very knowledgeable, he gave very thorough and clear explanations of the electricity generating process, dam operation, history of building the dam....everything. I was actually surprised at how far we were allowed into the generating area and literally under the dam itself. An agent at one of the discount Branson ticket stations actually dissed the dam tour, saying the tour had some history of being undependable (the tours were suspended right after 9/11 and only recently started up again). BUT, we found that agent to be greatly mistaken!
