Owners Richard and Racquel Hatfield very gracious. There are many reasons to stay here and not just the money. You really should click
on Gretna Inn and or talk to the owners, they have spent big bucks
updating this property and the trend continues. Thanks Hatfields, I
had a great four nights in Branson and will try hard to one day return.
May I also recommend the Up Town Cafe just four blocks south of
Gretna Inn on Gretna. Great food especially breakfast at very good
price and the service/folks are real fine too. My earlier selection
for Excellent>Terrible was 180 degrees off. They should all be
excellent. I was thinking Excellent was the first choice on the form.
Sorry if I goofed.

Room Tip: Get and read the BRANSON Brochure.

Very clean, close to the strip and wonderful people. The price was very reasonable and it was easy to get to.

Previous reviews confirm this is our, I believe, 4th stay at this property. Each time, we return, there is evidence of diligent work on the property. The accommodations remain clean and welcoming. Location cannot be beat. Value cannot be beat.

Our stay here was nice. The room was clean and the people were very nice. The location was fantastic. We will most likely stay there again. The price was just right for the accomodations.

This is a family owned motel that made us feel like we were part of their family. We found the coupon to stay here in one of the free travel books you pick up in a gas station. The room was clean. The motel is not on the strip but is walking distance. The couple who owes it were very hospitable. The only negative thing I could say is that the helicopter pad is next door and is kind of loud for about 15 min. in the morning. When we come back to Branson, this is were we are staying again.

Have stayed in this motel off and on the last 4 years. Since Richard and Racheal have taken it over, it is so much better. Hospitality is great, both exterior and rooms totally rodone. Small pool, great for kids. Did stay just before Christmas and Richard and Racheal had left for a couple of months, and their replacements were much less than adequate, not up to their normal standards. Great price, clean rooms. If you are traveling with kids, recommend the family room, which nas basically 2 bedrooms with a bath to share, microwave, frigerator, and table. Bring your own food and eat comfortable at the kitchen table. Walking distance through a parking lot to 76. Backside watch the big skyswing, go-carts, and fun center for kids. The rooms are always clean. If you need anything Richard and Racheal are always very willing to get you or help you get whatever you need. Will stay there again and recommend to everyone looking for an inexpensive smaller motel that is clean.

Room Tip: Upper backside, has the skyrider hugh swing tosee

On a previous visit we stayed in a room with a king bed, and was very pleased with accommodations. This time we chose a room with two queen beds and were equally pleased. The owner/managers provided the same "above and beyond" service, and there was an almost "bed and breakfast" environment considering the friendliness of the management and other guests. However, there was plenty of privacy. Considering the excellent daily rate, we did not anticipate luxurious accommodations, but did anticipate clean rooms with comfortable beds, and we were not disappointed. Room was equipped with a microwave and refrigerator, and there is complimentary internet access and free parking. There is a flat screen tv, and there was some difficulty with reception, but we were not in the room long enough to determine if this needed attention. We did encounter difficulty with the heating, but we managed this, and I am sure the problem was attended to after our stay. The location of the dressing area outside the bath room is another positive. Good coffee and donuts are available in the lobby until 9 a.m. Location is only minutes from anywhere you would want to go in Branson. Our 3 night stay at the Gretna Inn costs less than a one night stay at many of the properties in Branson.
