This was our first time to see the Rankin Brothers show but will not be our last. There was a wide variety of music that took you through a journey of years. They are very talented as the lady who sings with them. Loved the duet of Sonny and Cher especially when Sonny's wig flew off into the audience. They kept everyone entertained. Encourage anyone who likes a variety of music to see this show, you won't regret it.

If you are going to Branson, put the Rankin Bros at the top of your list of shows to see. We have been going to Branson for 8 seasons and this is our favorite show. These two brothers play the songs through the decades and do them so well. They really work hard to entertain you regardless of the size of the crowd. It is a fast paced show and their talent and versatility is unbelievable. The lady who sings with them does a fabulous rendition of some Connie Francis, and Petula Clark songs. When the show is over they are out in the lobby to greet you with sincerity. This show is worthy to be called "The hottest ticket in Branson"!

Since you are from Minnesota, I know you know what "cold" is but since you said the Rankin Brothers Show" was the hottest ticket in Branson, I know you also know what hot is. It definitely is a hot ticket and for so many reasons:

As you mentioned, Lori Kelly does an excellent job on Petula Clark's songs and my personal favorite, from Connie Francis, "Stupid Cupid". I thought that song could not have been done any better that Connie did it......until I heard Lori's version. She has an amazing voice and the personality to sell any song that she might sing.

The band are not just a group of great musicians but also add comedy to the show. The comedy changes nightly so you never know what you might hear but they do get some very funny remarks in about Mark's "lawnmowing business". Won't ruin it for anybody that hasn't seen the show but they really tease him.

Matt and Mark do a great variety of songs, 13 of which they are doing this season that they have not done in Branson prior to the 2014 season. And, yes, the guys do work hard to make sure you see a top-notch show. They are both onstage the majority of the time and put everything they have into every number. If you don't leave the theater feeling good after hearing them sing "The Anchor Holds" your body has shut down and you just don't know it.

Speaking about leaving the theater, you mentioned they are in the lobby to greet you as you leave. Their "meet-and-greet" is something that is very important to the entire family. In addition to Mark, Martt and Lori being in the lobby, their parents, Larry and Sherry are always eager to meet fans of the show. Two weeks ago when I was at the show, a little girl about five years old sat behind me. Her parents said they hoped her loud clapping didn't bother me through the show but the mom said that the entire time she was pregnant she listened to 50's Rock n Roll and Mc Kenzie loves that kind of music. I asked Mc Kenzie if she enjoyed the show and in this little girl voice said "I just love them". I asked her if she would like to meet their mom and she said "Yes Ma'am" (which certainly impressed me). I introduced her to Sherry, who thanked her for coming to see her boys, gave the little girl a hug and a new Rankin Brothers fan left the show a happy camper. There are times that we are in the theater until about midnight as their fans look forward to meeting them after the show.

Thank you for taking your time to review the show and we hope to see you the next time you are in Branson.

These two guys are awesome! And they are from Texas too! I was amazed as to how many entertainers they could sound like. Their show is for the entire family. We got to talk to their Mom and Dad that night. Delightful couple.
