Very clean, nice view, quiet resort. Good amenities. Close to the marina - you can rent a boat from there. There are enough restaurants and shopping nearby to be comfortable, but not so close to Branson that you have to endure the horrid traffic. Very close to Silver Dollar City, which is a nice daytrip.

My family just returned from our trip to Branson. I am so glad that we decided to stay at Village at Indian Point. The people were so nice, the location was great, the lodge was very clean and roomy, the beds were comfy, it was very quiet and peaceful, the pool and hot tub was great, I could go on and on. We loved waking up to the beautiful view of the lake. The porch off of the master bedroom and living room was huge and we enjoyed eating out there and having coffee out there. It was perfect. The kids loved fishing, even though they didn't catch anything! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a little extra room and a place more peaceful/quiet on their trip. We had three adults and 2 kids in a 2 bedroom and there was plenty of room. The master had a king size bed and the guest bedroom had a queen size bed. There was a pullout sofa and a small sofa in the living room.

We travel to Branson at least once a year, sometimes several times a year, but this was the first time we have stayed at The Village. From reading the reviews, it is apparent that the quality of one's stay at this establishment depends much on the condo you are assigned. The condo we were placed in from September 30-October 3 was very cozy (smaller than I expected), but also full of rustic charm that helped make our trip relaxing and enjoyable.
The views from building 7 are absolutely gorgeous. The only bad thing about the view from the top floor is that there are 22-31 stairs to climb, depending on where you enter from. Everything in our child-friendly condo was very clean, and there were not too many things my 9 month old or 2 year old could get into and destroy. The kitchen had every utensil we needed, and there was plenty of HOT water.
The pool is small, but there was never anyone else in it while we were swimming, and the wading pool was perfect for my 2 year old. There is also a small playground, but there are only swings and a 'tree-house' of sorts to climb into, so it will not hold a toddler's interest for as long as hunting for acorns to throw to squirrels along the nature trails.
The office is only open from 9am to 5pm, which is inconvenient if you need anything after office hours, but I was only disappointed that my husband and son didn't get to experience the atmosphere of all the mounted wildlife around the massive stone fireplace that I was able to glance at during check-in.
Since we don't have a boat, and swimming in lake water isn't appealing to us, we didn't mind that there is no place to dock or better lake access for swimming. While this place is very expensive, I think all of us would agree our trip was well worth the money we spent to stay here.

The room was clean and very good. Dish washer was very load but did work. The only problem we had was the sleep quality and the bed The bed did not suit us, we got up each day with a sore back. We were on the second floor and the three couples above us on the third floor were rude. These were adults without kids and were up each night till about 2am laughing, talking and drinkng.

We stayed at the Villiage this last weekend (September 24 thru September 26) in a lakeview condo with loft bedroom with our church ladies group for a weekend getaway! We had an excellent time. The condo was so nice and the view was absolutely beautiful! Everyone was in aww of it! The deck was wonderful except that the people in the unit below us would smoke everytime we were out on it and one of the girls that was with us is very allergic and sensitive to smoke. So she had to go in when they came out, but other than that, it was PERFECT!! The high speed internet service was also wonderful! We are already planning our next year's vacation at the Village! Thank you for an awesome and fun weekend!

We celebrated my husband's birthday with a trip to Branson and a stay at The Village. We enjoyed it very much. The view from the deck is our favorite. We have our meals on the deck and love to sit out and relax and listen to the sounds of nature, read and listen to our "tunes." Just one minor detail. We couldn't find the coffee. Everything else was there, handy and available, but no coffee. Hopefully next time it will be available.
